I'm new to the forums and have been attempting to dig through threads and posts with little to no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm a little overwhelmed.

Some of my concerns are: 1) Understanding what decision the board will return given my history-Severance orTemporary/perminate retirement or return to duty, 2) Can severance pay be denied so I can collect VA compensation instead?

My History:
Diagnosed with Sleep Apnea in '07, put on CPAP, MEB return to duty w/ C-code, had surgery '08 but eventually put back on CPAP w/ higher pressure and put on nuvigil, RILO'ed '08 & '09, removed from CPAP and nuvigil this year, specialist stated I still have apnea but am untreated w/ no options given. PCM sending me up for new MEB, and awaiting Commander letter before it's sent this Oct. This MEB also includes bilateral Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS). TOS diagnosed '09, multipe ineffective treatments, surgery '10 for rightside only (two neck muscles removed).

Thank You.
