Hello PEB fam,

Has anyone within recent months completed their VA C&P exams, and also received ratings? What was your timeline/wait time for ratings.

I am curious to know what to potentially expect in terms of waiting times.

If you would like to reply with your entire timeline/conditions/ratings that would be much appreciated by myself and I'm sure many others as well.

As a back story, I am currently going through the IDES process within the Air Force and will be completing my final C&P exams before the end of the year.

I look forward to hearing back from you all.

Referred to MEB, elected to go through IDES: late Aug-early Sept 2020
First C&P exam: 15 Oct 2020
Last C&P exam: 27 Oct 2020
Exam results released to VA: 3 Dec 2020
Exam results sent to provider for NARSUM: 4 Dec 2020

Finished my last exam September 24, and I am still waiting on my proposed ratings and my narsum.

Referred to MEB on 30SEP
First C&P on 18NOV
Last C&P on 30NOV
NARSUM 11DEC
Legal Review 14DEC
Now I'm waiting on the Informal PEB. "Army Average" is 17.84 days. I'm expecting closer to 30 days due to the holidays.

Honestly, texting the Peblo with “haven’t heard anything in a while. Am I supposed to be doing anything?” usually gets the ball rolling again. Gotta figure we’re only 1 of many cases they’re working

Not sure if this is an Air Force-ism or not, but I completed my NARSUM prior to my MEB/VA Intake.... then my C&P exams were coordinated and completed...

Now I am waiting results and ratings. A couple of my assessments have populated into Tricare Online....
but now it is just a waiting game.... Im hoping for a quick turn around especially over the holidays.

Signed AF 618: 16 Dec 2020
New ratings show up on eBenefits: 17 Dec 2020

just got word, that I am awaiting Decision Letters in the mail and my AF618 to be signed from my (new) PCM.

Hoping my ratings are decent.
Question, if there are not favorable, I might have to rebuttal/appeal... does anyone know the process and/or how painful it is, if at all?

My proposed VA ratings were released today, and in an e-mail, my MSC stated: "Your claim has been sent to the rating board, and the next step should be to conduct your NARSUM briefing with the PEBLO after your rating is completed."

My question is, what comes after the signing of the AF 618? I appreciate any help you can provide.
