IDES Timeline

As did I. Sent it back this evening. Was told they would submit it tonight or first thing in the morning. Hopefully the Peb people aren’t petty and lack integrity. Don’t want them to screw me just because I’m trying to hold them accountable to their jobs.

Received this update from my PEBLO today:

"Per the PEB report sent today there are 2994 cases in the Medical officer que.

When I sort the report from largest to smallest in the Medical Officer que your name is 2451 of 2994.

Of those 2994 cases WRNMMC has 91 still pending action by the PEB.

Your case is # 36 with 88 days at the PEB.

The oldest case pending action from WRNMMC is 130 days. That case was picked up by the PEB on 02APR21 and that case is still in the Medical Officer que.

Yes it is a correct Assumption that the PEB work on a first in first out process.

I hope this helps with understanding the back log currently at the PEB."

I guess this means I'm gonna be waiting for a lot longer...
When was your case sent to the PEB?

Senators office said they submitted an inquiry today at like 8 am central time.

I should have been referred to ides in December 2020 but due to negligence, it didn't get done until March 2021. By then I already did my VA exams, so the whole idea process went pretty fast

I started IDES December 2020. Signed my NARSUM March 24th but my PEBLO “never received it” until I called him April 15th and then it got submitted/accepted on the 19th. Hoping for good news this week

Damn, I thought 356 days in IDES was bad. Sorry to hear you've been stuck in limbo for so long.
I am mentally exhausted. I have had a hell of a run through with having to check-in/transfer to 4 different commands over the period of nearly 2 years, they forgot to sign my LIMDU paperwork in October of 2019-ended up signed in December of 2019, my medical record was lost because after my PCS-they never sent my file in the mail to my new duty station branch medical clinic in the first place, I had to resubmit my NMA because my original expired, and so a new administrative shop had to get the new CO to sign and who was on leave, then I had to submit my MEPS medical paperwork because somehow medical had not uploaded the files to their database..

To give you some more insight.. I had a neurosurgeon (prior to my IDES process) in Portsmouth tell me they reviewed my file and did there examination and claimed there wasn't anything wrong with me and there was nothing that they could do to help me. This person didn't even look at my x-rays or my MRI in fact when they pulled me into their office they didn't even have my medical file pulled up and they said they couldn't find my file. They never reviewed anything prior to my appointment. Without saying, yes.. I wanted a second opinion with another doc and the new doc concurred that there was something wrong with me and put in motion to get me the medical assistance that I needed.

This is only a part of the hardship that I have experienced during my medical process. I have been through enough frustration and pain that it has forever ruined my opinion of what I was so proud to be a part of.

Seeing other people's pain I sometimes feel bad for complaining, but then I remember everything I was subject to and I don't feel so bad anymore

I just spoke with the PEBLO over the phone my case has been has been there for 84 days and said my case is probably in the top 25% and my proposed VA rating is 90%.

No guarantees and no estimated timeline to give. Which I understand. This guy must get a boat load of calls and emails.
