Hey everyone. I’m new here, just found this forum but so far I’ve learned a lot.

My PEB was accepted Aug 26th via MOL.
I already have signed a 6 month extension ending feb 2022

this process is ridiculous so far. I’m glad I’m not alone though.
those that have been waiting 100+ days since PEB accepted- idk how y’all are doing it. I’m already over waiting.
Is anyone else going through this on the east coast? Beaufort?

this PEBLO is less than helpful to say the least.

I would say to expect at least 6 months in the IPEB process. Nothing goes quickly around here.

Well they haven’t finished going through April’s packages yet so id have to agree with CECS-USMC, you’re in for at least a 6 month wait on just the PEB.

I got everything submitted quickly with my PEBLO but after that communication basically just stopped because of them teleworking.

I would recommend since it will be such a long wait for you that you attempt to get your command to send you to wounded warrior.

Haha. My command hasn’t even moved me from the lifting restrictions I have.

I'm in Albany, GA. my package was accepted (according to MOL) by PEB on July 6, 2021. My PEBLO told me to expect a call around 30-90 days. Emailed my PEBLO again on August 23, 2021 to see if there was any updates because my current EAS is September 23, 2021, and he told me it'd be another 80 days. Told my command I needed another extension and I still don't have another one yet.

These timelines are making me extremely anxious. This is beyond ridiculous of them. There should be no reason any of us are waiting past 90 days.

It sucks but there is literally nothing any of us can do but wait and that’s the worst part.

Just try your absolute hardest to get orders to wounded warrior battalion. From what I’ve heard they are amazing. My previous command told me to fuck off when I asked them and made sure I didn’t get a chance because my injuries weren’t from “IEDs” and I wasn’t “missing limbs” Just getting PCAd to a command that isn’t absolutely toxic as fuck has helped my mental health greatly. I can only imagine what wounded warrior would do for someone going through a med board especially when you know it’ll be a 6-8 month wait.

Thanks! I’m actually a FAP to the command in at right now and I’ve been trying to get released back to my parent command for the last few weeks. If that doesn’t go anywhere I’ll definitely be looking into the WWBN option. I can’t take much more of the toxicity this one is giving.

I’ve never been assigned to wounded warrior but from the reps I spoke to it’s a way to give Marines the ability to take care of their medical issues and not have to worry about performing in their MOS and potentially injuring themselves even more.

My case was accepted to the PEB August 2nd. I’m also in Beaufort, my lawyer told me 90 days should be around the time until we get an answer. There is currently 150 cases from Beaufort alone that were awaiting findings as of 2 weeks ago, when it comes to the PEB, I don’t know if it goes by case in to case out or by different locations, I’ve seen a lot of people on here who’ve been waiting awhile but a big majority of them were west coast, and I’ve seen personally a lot of my buddies who were on a med board here in Beaufort get there findings within 3 months, and that was recently as well. Who is your PEBLO? You don’t have to put it in here if you don’t want to lol you can PM me as well.
