Finally at the Medical Officer (allegedly)

Hello all. I called my PEBLO today for an update and she said my package has been with the Medical officer for 3 days (allegedly) my case was sent up September 17th. 3 days down 186 to go lol
About 5 weeks seems to be the standard between PEB submission and when the medical officer accepts it. Hang in there. I didn’t realize it when I started the PEB stage, but nows the time to look into operation warfighter or skill bridge if you are interested in it.

Based on the tracker that POG posted in the IDES Timelines thread, currently the oldest cases with the medical officer have been there for 161 days. Cases seem to have been receiving decisions faster than that up to this point, so hopefully these are outliers. But either way, you should have less than 186 days to go lol

Lol I’m not trying to get my hopes up. 193 days to go

My case was sent to the PEB on 14 May (164 days) but has only been with the medical officer since 23 June (124 days)

Not sure why there is a 40 day gap. The tracker shared in this forum shows about 300 cases ahead of me so I guess that is promising. Then again, I doubt they will clear 100 cases per week so I'm probably not going to see my results before December.

I posted in the other thread about this, but that tracker showed 65 people with the Presiding Officer and an average time of 0.95 days at that stage. Since those 65 cases had all been at that stage for less than a week, that means the Medical Officer had pumped out at least that many cases in that week. Based on those numbers, I think she's pushing out 100+ cases per week.

If they are getting through 65-100 cases per week then I have another 3 to 5 weeks of waiting. No big deal, it's not like my case has already been at the PEB for 24 weeks.

Yeah I'm hoping that 65 cases figure is what she's pushing out every day or two rather than every week, which could push the real number up closer to like 300 or something. Hopefully POG or one of the other forum members can get their hands on a new weekly tracker today though so I can dig into the numbers some more and see what I can figure out, because right now this is all just a best guess based on one week's worth of data.

A couple weeks of trackers is all it takes to see the trends. It would’ve been nice to have that from the start because then I feel like I would’ve been able to manage my expectations instead of being in the dark and having to guess based on pre-Covid estimates.

It would have been really nice to be able to track people at the Presiding Officer and go back into the previous week's tracker to see how long they'd been at the Medical Officer, but apparently we're probably not going to be getting any more trackers

You have a tracker? How do I get access to one of these?

There was a tracker that someone leaked in October, the one PEBLOS get usually, but the leak basically made the people stop sending the trackers to the PEBLOs
