Not fully sure but my case sent to the PEB on NOV 23rd and I have heard nothing so far. But not all timelines work the same so maybe yours will be faster

Unless you submitted an expedited memo for school or work it’ll probably be a minute. Just got my ratings today and was in the PEB since September. It also is dependent on the complexity of your case. The average time for PEB currently is 3 months my peblo said but because of the holidays he said a little longer, but every case is different I hope yours gets pushed through faster than mine!

Thanks for the replies y'all. I hope your 199s come in soon!

I have a total of 7 claimed conditions, with the reason for referral being Bipolar Disorder. I'll be posting updates and anything helpful I can find out.

No update as of yet. VA app is still sitting at Preparation for Decision. I called them Thursday asking about the status of my claim and they told me to check back in 5-10 business days.

MY TIMELINE

1) 12 OCT 21 Signed NARSUM
2) 15 OCT 21 Case moved to PEB
3) 05 NOV 21 Receive unfit findings from PEB
4) 15 DEC 21 Received ratings 10% DOD and 100% VA

6) 20 DEC 21 Disagreed with IPEB findings for DOD rating and submitted a written appeal
7) 21 DEC 21 Received FPEB schedule date for 25 MARCH 2022
8) 06 JAN 22 IPEB accepted and approved my written appeal with new form 199 (new ratings DOD=60% with Permanent retirement AND VA=100%. So I waived the FPEB that was supposed to be in MARCH 2022.
9) 06 JAN 22 Agreed and signed new form 199
10) 11 JAN 22 Received a NLD

Fingers crossed we have the same timeline roughly. If I agree with the findings that would hopefully put me on orders in early march.

42 days since case has been sent to PEB.

Radio silence.

VA case still in preparation for decision phase.

Coming up on 20 days after VA ratings and 70 in the PEB. No updates. PEBLO is amazing so the 199 for sure has not come back yet. I’ll call and ask about what step it is in if I don’t get a 199 by next Monday.

Fingers crossed I follow the good luck trend of posting about having no updates and immediately getting my 199 haha.

Do you know the number to get a hold of the paralegal/lawyer on fort Riley. I have been trying for two weeks. I have sent an email and no response. Thank you

Try 9157423784? Or (785) 239-7265. Both Google results so who knows.

Yup, I just checked the PowerPoint I got from the MSC. It says the Office Of Soldiers Counsel is 239-7265.

Thank you, that’s the number I’ve been calling and no luck. Apperantly they are teleworking, but I dont know why it’s taking them 2weeks to get back to me. Appreciate the help

Hey I just started a Riley thread. I moved to phase 2 last week. So you get your proposed ratings from the peblo?

I’ve heard mixed reports. My PEBLO is a rockstar so he made sure I had them the exact day the VA closed my case. Others on the forum have said they had to call the VA and get them to send an email.

Has anyone successfully contacted someone with pull at the PEB? I know PEBLOs have little say in what the PEB does. Would an ombudsman be able to see if something got lost?

I have an appointment to get braces the 21st of april and start full time online school the 1st of may. Im at 96 in the PEB and I’m starting to get frustrated.

From what I have seen an Ombudsman can find out if there is something specific holding up your timeline in the event that your PEBLO can not or simply will not. From what I was told they are specifically assigned to help transfer your case to the VA but I have heard of a few other people finding out through their Ombudsman that their expedite memos, 199s, or whatever else were fumbled/lost/never turned in.
