IDES Timeline

Mine also stopped showing up for about a week, almost two now. I called the VA and they said they could still see my claim

I have spent time looking on this forum at other peoples timelines and stories so I figured i would add my own. 10 years of service in the Nuke field and issued into IDES in October of 2020.

I reached out to my lawyer and PEBLO yesterday to get an update. Lawyer said that my package hasn't even been assigned to anyone yet and nothing has been done. My PEBLO said that she has people that have been waiting 11 weeks and still have no information, so hold tight and hopefully we get an answer in a few weeks. "A few weeks" is what i have been told throughout every step of this process. How is this a thing? How are these people able to just sit on this important paperwork for months and not even open the files? Sorry, venting a little bit but I think it's just ridiculous. My lawyer also said that a lot of people on the PEB are PCS'ing so there is a big changeout of personnel which is why it's taking so long. Any information on this or help in any way? Wish i could see the progress for myself instead of relying on email's through my PEBLO/Lawyer.

QUESTION... I am new here. Sorry if this is not the right way to do this but, if a airmen is sent to a mental health hospital for a 30 day stay when should they be referred to IDEAS?

Hey yall!! Im a new here.

If the airforce medical group sent an airmen to a mental health hospital for a 30 day stay, and was told they needed to stay an additional 2 weeks bc his mental health is so bad. He was diagnosed with PTSD, Major Depression, Anxiety, and Insomnia. After hospital stay in intensive outpatient therapy... When should he have been referred to IDES?

Legal Brief: End of Dec 21/Beginning 2022
last QTC appt: Jan 25 2022
PEB sent: May 10th
PEB Accepted: May 31th 2022
I Haven't gotten anything back since i just have been getting the run around since August of it should only be a few more weeks. feels like I'm a kid you tell you're almost there when you're not even close. Everyone i know that has Had their boards sent in may are long gone or in the appeal process just seeing if anyone has the same problems. USMC Camp Lejeune WWBN-EAST. i just find it odd that there is no answers at all

Any ideas as to what this response from my PEBLO could possibly mean timeline-wise? I'm active Navy and my PEBLO is not always helpful or responsive, so much that I was surprised to get more than the "be patient" email from her after only emailing her once a month now so she knows that I am alive basically. My package was sent to PEB phase around the first week of August. Statement from PEBLO below:

Your case is currently being looked at by the Medical Officer's Department. Not sure where that is in the PEB
pecking order but I feeling we should get something soon.

Does anyone have a number or contact at Naval Base San Diego PSD? All the numbers I have found have been no help. I need to ask them about a ticket that has been submitted since I separated in August.

I've seen a bunch of people at my command whose boards went up in July get their results back in September. So, hopefully you are next based on that timeline!! Good luck, update us when you hear something!

Just got this update from my PEBLO... hate to see it.
"Unfortunately, the PEB is still working hard to process cases. They are behind schedule according the IDES-timelines. No progress for your case."
30 days at PEB

It doesn’t automatically cause a MEB. Did you by chance go to the Meadows?

All PSDs are converted to TSCs, and a lot of locations have closed as TSCs have combined functions. What that means is, whatever you were hoping to get from San Diego , may now be performed by some other location across the country. Also, a lot of phone numbers no longer work. You may get better traction through the MNCC help line.

MNCC is the one who told me my ticket has been sitting at PSD San Diego for over 30 days, and they don’t have a point of contact either.

That's godd*** dumb because there's literally no such thing as PSD San Diego anymore. Hate to say it, you might have to start over. Was it a TOPS transaction, or SalesForce?

So I separated 28Aug waited for severance pay. LES shows it was suppose to be payed out 19SEP (DFAS has confirmed that date) they can’t actually release pay until my separating command submits my separation worksheet. With MNCCs help they told me my command had submitted two tickets one on in July, and another in Sep both were submitted incorrectly. So MMCC submitted another one on my behalf but it’s been sitting at “PSD San Diego”

I will say that's more help than MNCC usually is. If the tickets were July and September, then they were both SalesForce tickets, so that is good. Have you gone back to your separating command and told them to get their act together?

Yes, they are absolutely no help, don’t answer the phone, won’t respond to emails. Which is why I was hoping someone had a number to reach out to someone there.

Im in the same boat as you with my last paycheck. Command hasn’t submitted my separation paperwork and won’t respond to my calls or emails. If you figure it out let me know lol

Well, since PSD San Diego literally doesn't exist anymore..... I'd say you both ought to file a Congressional inquiry, ASAP.
