Are you at Liberty? It may happen, just stay on top of things. I scheduled everything as soon as I could and keep active contact with my PEBLO. You may be able to do an expedite memo once you get your NARSUM.Just got a call for my brief on the 8th of August. I would love to be kept in the loop on your timeline. It looks like the Army is going faster than the other branches. I try not to compare to anything but Army when Im researching as the branches do things so differently.Yours was quicker.
I feel like I read so many posts that have completely different steps than my current timeline.
For instance my current process
19 April 23 - Unfit condition triggered MEB. The surgeon told be to activate the MEB with my PCM but I did not because I wanted to commission. Three weeks later the condition became worse so I went to the ER and after that my PCM found the MEB request in my med records.
17 May 23 - AMRO meeting, Code applied
18 May 23 - Post DAWG questionnaire sent to me by PEBLO
12 JUNE 23 - Notification by PEBLO to my cc that I was require an IRILO and CIS is needed.
15 June 23 - CIS statement signed
26 June 23 - Narsum completed, PEBLO notified me that it was sent to AFPC
5 July 23 - AFPC directed FUL MEB
13 July 23 - VA MSC appointment
23 July- 1 Aug 23- VA Appointment (QTC) completed
I’m currently on the VA.
Unfortunately it seems right now that the Army PEB has significant slowdown. We're seeing 9+ weeks from PEB submission and 4+ weeks from VA case closure without a determination of fitness. It looks like the Army is going faster than the other branches. Of course it would slow down as soon as I get to that point….just curious, is this from what you have been seeing on the boards or from a Pebl?Unfortunately it seems right now that the Army PEB has significant slowdown. From the boards. That being said my PEBLO stated they received a case submitted in early May last week. It's hard to draw a conclusion from that since I don't know the time line and complexity of that case, but suffice to say it isn't going fast.Of course it would slow down as soon as I get to that point….just curious, is this from what you have been seeing on the boards or from a Pebl?
Just a thought since we are all spending our time scavenging the boards for answers…Throughout the process I’ve seen different bases have timeline variations as well as different timelines for conditions claimed, are you seeing anything like this? From the boards. It shouldn't be base dependent at PEB level since it's centralized. It'll be more individual based. Before that though yes, up to the MEB will be base specific.Just a thought since we are all spending our time scavenging the boards for answers…Throughout the process I’ve seen different bases have timeline variations as well as different timelines for conditions claimed, are you seeing anything like this?
