IPEB hasnt sent unfit to the VA

Good morning yall,
Hoping someone could offer me insight on what tree i need to shake to keep the process moving forward. My case timeline for the IPEB is below:
Nov 18 2024: IPEB submitted, MyFSS email received
Nov 22 2024: IPEB found unfit (per what My peblo can see)
Dec 30th 2024: called the VA to see if there's any guess on when I might hear everything back, they said they are just waiting on the IPEBs fit/unfit decision

I've tried to give Jeff a call but don't exactly want to blow up his phone as I'm AF and from what I understand he's navy PEB, but I want to see if there's any way I can get the process moving again. Any help would be much appreciated!

I got my myFSS email 13 Nov and still haven’t heard anything. every time i call the VA they just say my proposed ratings have not been determined yet. :/

So i got off the phone with medical retention standards, they said at this point the PEBLO has to reach out to grease any wheels or see what the hold up is. Hopefully they won't be making us wait too much longer!

well thats just great my peblo will never answer my emails or calls from myself or first shirt..
 
Elevate to your PEBLO's supervisors. If you do not have their contact info, your attorney and paralegal should. If you don't have an attorney, get one.

Excellent advice, additionally the MDG should be able to tell you where the PEBLO office is on your installation, don't be afraid to go in person.
 
Sounds like you're in a bit of a waiting game right now. Your IPEB's been submitted, the unfit decision has been made, and now you’re just waiting on the VA’s official word.

It might be worth reaching out to your PEBLO again to see if there’s anything you can do to speed things up, but at the same time, try to be patient with the whole process. We all know it can take some time, especially with certain delays or busy periods.

Just keep an eye on your case and stay in touch with your PEBLO and the VA. If things feel like they're not moving, a friendly follow-up can sometimes make a difference!

im definitely trying. ive been goin through this whole process since october 2023. im being as patient as i can lol.

Have you heard anything back yet? I've been playing phone tag with the OAC/PEBLO/MSC all day, and keep getting the same thing over and over. DoD says unfit was sent up on the 26th but VA hasn't touched my case since the 18th. Hopefully you've heard something more helpful brother!

i actually just got off the phone with my MSC and he said that the PEB found me unfit 19 Nov and never notified the VA... so he sent an email to the DRAS people to see if they can figure out what my case is doing. he also noted in there that i have been geographically separated from my spouse since July so hopefully i will hear something back soon.

Damn. I'm also doing geographic bachelor and that plus the MEB is really a killer, I hope shaking that tree gets some results! How did your MSC let you know they forgot to notify? Mine just keeps telling me they are still waiting for the decision even when I tell them it should've been sent on the 26th.

he just called me after i emailed him for an update and said they don't have a proposed rating and then he looked at the other tracker they use and said when i was found unfit and then ig he saw that it hasn't been sent to the VA so he started typing up emails to try to see why. did yours get sent Dec 26th?

The VA says they don't have it, and my MSC is wiley as hell when it comes to responding. I think I've gotten ahold of him once? In the past 3 months and it was today lol. When I speak with the OAC/PEBLO, they show the DoD sent it over on 26 November so who knows

this was actually my first time today getting ahold of mine since the initial VA exam stuff. my package sat on my PEBLOs desk for a month and a half before he had me sign it and now the PEB never sent the findings to the Va so that delayed my prospect even more. im definitely over this whole MEB/PEB ordeal.

So, kind of an update. My PEBLO said that DRAS has been overwhelmed and regularly busting 90+ days to rate and return, so they have called in additional manning to help expedite the process. Hopefully that means we hear something by the end of the month.

oh dear. considering mine hasnt even been to the VA after i was found unfit thats depressing. but thank you for this update! i will keep that in mind. keep me updated if you hear anything!

This made me want to cry lmao, mine was submitted 12 Nov and I still have yet to hear anything at all. My MSC never answers or calls back and my PEBLO still hasn't heard anything and he's been super good at updating me.

oh yeah it definitely made me upset hearing that news. but hopefully i will hear something back from my MSC today if not he told me to call him Monday.

i received an update today that my claim has been put in cue to be rated and to expect a rating in 2-3 weeks.
