16MAR: Receive NLT Date of 10 June
18MAR: Orders will be ready
Got 30 days after notification to go on leave so 10 April is my date of when I have to start leave.
Only taking 10 days PTDY and 2 days of chargeable leave which are travel days. I'm selling 35.5 days of leave and my VA disability pay will start most likely 1 June. VR&E program is all set and just doing job interviews. I have way more than enough to cover me until my disability kicks in as I have been aggressively saving for a year.
Congratulations, How long for the 199? I'm still waiting I'm ready to be out. I was told 2 weeks after PEB. Gets them from the VA.

Almost 2 months after my narsum went up. And it took about a month after my proposed ratings were completed.

Appreciate you sending these timeline updates, super helpful.

I really need to coordinate my VR&E program.

My PEBLO just told me two weeks as well. The PEB was sent the VA findings yesterday for me. I've got a couple guys in my BN who got it faster than two weeks, but like Berry said they waited a month. It's hard to say.

What do y'all understand the process to look like after you sign your DA 199?

My understanding is that you have 26 days to clear after signing it, plus however much leave you are taking, if you are taking leave.

26 days is what my PEBLO told me, I'm not sure if that's the actual number or not.

30 days after notification from signing your da199 you're on leave. If you get medical retirement you need to attend retirement briefs. I'm taking 10 days ptdy and 2 days of chargeable leave and that's it because it gets me to April 20th and then my retirement pay kicks in for May and then va kicks in in June and my retirement pay gets reduced or goes away due to va payment.

Thanks for the info!

Is that 10 days PTDY available to anyone? I'd love to take that and then my remaining 50 days..

Would y'all rather take your leave or sell it?

I had considered selling when I thought your NLT was the same whether you took leave or not, but now that I know it's different it seems like taking it is the better option.

For anyone else checking this thread for Fort Bragg, I received my DA 199 yesterday, 06 APR 26. That was approximately three weeks after the VA sent my ratings to the PEB, which occurred on 17 MAR 26.
