ABCMR lied to me for 12 months saying my case is under review when it was never assigned to an analyst

My attorney notified me at the beginning of the month that an analyst was assigned to my case and we should be expecting a decision within several months(however long that may be) my case has been in ABCMR for 17 months now.

ABCMR lied to me for 12 months saying my case is under review when it was never assigned to an analyst

My attorney at NVLSP found out that my case has not been assigned to an analyst. In other words my case has been on the shelf for 12 months. Mind you my application was mailed to ARBA in December 2020 and took 5 months to be docketed on top of a 24 month wait period to get a decision that my...

Medical retirement with 100% VA disability

From my understanding since you didn’t complete 20 years active service, you can’t get medical retirement pay and VA compensation at the same time(concurrent receipt) it offsets so you’ll have to choose. It’s wise to not have your 100 percent VA re evaluated. You can apply for CRSC however and I...

ARBA letter states ABCMR expedited case 6 to 8 months for a decision it’s now 12 months

Yes I noticed that, I find it interesting as well. Medical retirement is either PDRL or TDRL from my understanding.

ARBA letter states ABCMR expedited case 6 to 8 months for a decision it’s now 12 months

Right. I came to that conclusion by the 8th month after the letter was sent. Key words “intent of providing you a decision”…. not “will be providing”

ARBA letter states ABCMR expedited case 6 to 8 months for a decision it’s now 12 months

I’m assuming ABCMR is slower than the previous review board my case was under. Total 29 months. 5 months to file my application and the. Another 24 months of review.

Sending my application to ARBA it took 5 months to be filed into receipt. On top of that it took 24 months of review to get this letter I posted. Since this letter it’s going on 12 months being reviewed by ABCMR. Total 41 months pending a decision.

ARBA letter states ABCMR expedited case 6 to 8 months for a decision it’s now 12 months

Has anyone else got this sort of letter stating their case will be expedited and not meet the deadline? If so how many months over until you got your decision?

Took 3 years and 6 months to get this letter today

After 3 years and half my case is being redirected to the ABCMR. I don’t know if this is good news or a disappointment.

    Predictions anyone?

my attorney argues that the Army psychiatrist notes reflect my records done by the VA C & P exam notes done by a different psychiatrist in 2015. He believes I should have been referred to a med board and believes I should have been informed about my ptsd symptoms and be referred for tests or...
