I feel you...My first MyFSS came 8 July... and I feel so behind. My MSC told me to f* off in not those exact words but close. Praying that some result will come out by 8 September but each day is harder and harder. I've been in this process since last year July.
From what I understand yes, you would get the lump sum at the beginning and then your "full" VA check will come in once that has been paid in full. I would read some documents though, because I have heard there's an exception if you get 100% VA? But that could totally be rumor mill.
Here's what I have: At least 30 continuous days on active duty and must be discharged due to service-connected disability or received a Purple Heart (Purple Heart effective August 1, 2018)... I believe that you may not qualify fully. And I say this as somebody who also graduated from one of the...
Long story short, I originally opted for LDES, but the decision was overturned by my base mental health. As I'm nearing the end of my med board, I'm honestly thankful that the system will handle both percentages for me. It's easy to get screwed in this process. Even though I thought I wanted the...
There are a couple factors that go into it: will the condition improve within a year? How long have you had this condition? Only your PCM can really get you an answer for it. Some member's records trigger an AMRO but it doesn't go anywhere long-term.

I was soooo set on keeping my 69.5 days of leave to add for terminal, but honestly, I just need to get my son to start school on time and my VA benefits to kick in. I have too many meds to leave up in the air. We're moving from the lower West continental U.S. to Alaska, and yeah, there are still...

I'm right behind you..except my PEBLO is about 6 weeks late to submit my final packet to AFPC. Every week it seems like my package moves back 2 steps then up only one step. I honestly thought I was going insane this week. Eternal groundhog day.
This gives me a bit of hope that some of my paperwork will at least make it up to the IPEB soon. I haven't heard anything for a hot minute now :( looking at all of the boards and comparing the branches, the Air Force is definetely moving the slowest. I can't imagine what's been happening with...
