Ok, I’m not sure why the flight docs were unaware of that.
I just went through an I-RILO and was returned with a C-2 code. Would I then go through a full MEB? And then if that’s the case what’s the outcome, still return to duty or separate?
thank you for the help, this has helped out a lot.
@chaplaincharlie on that note of being permanently DNIF and be boarded what happens?
Is this a med board?
The flight doc says it’s out of their hands if my waiver is denied so I am not quite sure my path forward if that is the case. I still have 6 years left on my adsc but I would no longer...
Ok, that’s what I thought. My flight docs keep telling me they don’t see any issue at this time. I would like to trust them but it’s been a year dnif now and due to multiple items they have fallen short of being competent.

I am in the Air Force. The good thing is I am already trained and have a current FCII physical. So I know I do have all that going for me but reading the Usaf waiver guide it doesn’t seem like I’ll get a waiver.

Just to keep an update.
I’ve met with my pulmonologist and got switched to advair for my asthma. Seems to have helped me better than arnuity.
I am currently waiting for the IRILO to be submitted which should be in the next few weeks.
I have a follow up with the pulmonologist in a few weeks. I’m going to see how it goes till then but as of right now my current meds don’t seem to be helping me the best. Hopefully after I see him he would switch me over.
So, does the decision happen locally and afpc just concurs or not concurs...
From what I understand the IRILO happens at AFPC? What all do they look at to determine their decision and how is this different than an MEB?
The allergist first put me on advair then I went off of it to take the methacholine test, then after being officially diagnosed my pulmonologist put me on...
Hi everyone, just want to post my status and get some input. I had this in another section but maybe more applicable here.
Back in early February I was diagnosed with asthma through my allergist which I have fairly severe allergies. I went to a pulmonologist and took a methacholine challenge...
