if it its is approved effective march 2014 does that mean i will get back pay for the 6 year they are allowed to back pay or am i reading it wrong? and is there a way to know what 80% means as far as crsc payment?

1981 grosse retired pay 60% army retired 4 years 7 months active duty 100% with the VA with 2 dependents

Hello first time here I was medically retired for injuries from combat. I served a total of 41/2 years of active duty. I got out in 2012. I am 100% VA but never new about this program till now. I am getting my packet ready now but wanted to get some clarity on how to calculate crsc ?
