I was just placed on TDRL today have 6 days to appeal to the Board but I have 9 mths till I hit my 20 year mark (6 mths if you add in leave and perm LV) I’m not sure if I should fight it. Do you get a pension while on TDL or just a one time severance pay?

I connected legal they said my best bet is to apply for Limited Assignment Status (LAS) however I heard it’s your SQ commander that approves that or is it the Group CC? Either way I’m banking on just applying will add 30 days to my timeline.
