Just calculate the value of your earned longevity pension. When i ran the numbers it was $1,794 a month but I don't have the exact numbers. For example, I estimated your longevity % times 2.5%. If you are BRS retirement system then its times 2% times your longevity. I calculated your longevity % at 36.25% based on the old legacy pension system at 2.5%. If 2% then your longevity % is 29% instead and that lowers the value of your earned pension. So just calculate the value of your retirement you earned through saving. The only other hard cap is the VA pay tables but at 70% CRSC the pay is $2300+ so the cap will be your longevity and not the pay tables for CRSC which uses the VA's pay tables.

Just remember CRSC is there to help you recoup any money lost due to the VA offset. You can't get more than the value of your VA pay and your earned longevity pension. So whatever your earned longevity pension is will be the max you can get. You get the lower between the value of your earned longevity pension or your CRSC pay amount that uses the VA pay tables.
