Found Unfit March 9th. Waiting on VA now. VA says it’s been assigned a rater as of last Wednesday.

Well yes you were aware of the conditions that didn’t meet medical standards according to the MEB which was put on your NARSUM. I’m asking if the PEBLO/PEB ever let you know you were found unfit before your proposed ratings were given.

Were you ever informed by your PEBLO about being unfit? Or just found out once ratings were closed?

Yes it was good to finally hear something. He did say though that if I was found fit, he’d likely already have heard back from PEB with the P2 profile designation. Case has been with PEB since 15 FEB.

I talked to PEBLO and he says my PEB case is still on vote 2. So not entirely sure the VA “decision phase” holds a lot of weight

Roger, sorry to hear you are going through that. But glad the Humira has helped. Helps me too and I'm happy not to have to take NSAIDS twice a day anymore. Did the PEB give a reason for unfit finding? Strictly the Humira use?

If you don't mind me asking, how much does the Ankylosing Spondylitis affect your day to day at normal work? I was just referred for Humira use and AS as well. Will start VA stuff early January I assume

Well looks like they finally referred me to IDES after talking to BD Surgeon and MEB office. Will keep everyone posted on journey going forward.

PCM said I still don’t meet criteria for a IDES referral even with diagnosis and Humira use.
