    VA launches COVID-19 screening tool

So, we can blow $6 Trillion on a Scamdemic, but we have to make retirees pay a monthly fee for Tricare Standard/Select? What a joke!

Are there other Veterans that the Veterans Affairs is stealing money from with their VA disability compensation scam?

I went through basically the same thing. Cost me around $2,400. They claimed I was receiving 100% comp for a period when I was actually receiving 30%. I filed a bunch of forms/appeals with the VA telling them how they were wrong. DAV sent them one as well. Turns out the VA never even looked at...

Colorado 100% P&T Vets (Property Tax)

Iowa gives a 100% exemption no matter the value. I believe New Mexico does the same.

Colorado 100% P&T Vets (Property Tax)

Wife & I are in the process of buying a house, so I looked up the property tax exemption. Apparently, it reduces the actual value (up to $200k) of your home by 50%. This would mean approx 20% off our prop taxes for this house. I'm not even sure if one could find a house in Colorado worth $200k...

What does 100% P&T mean? Can you still work or go to school?

I guess what I really want to know... should someone that is rated P&T be concerned about the VA caring whether or not he or she sees a doctor on a regular/specific basis? From your initial post, I think no, but from the future examination criteria, I'm not so sure. I stopped using VA healthcare...

What does 100% P&T mean? Can you still work or go to school?

So, if at some point, a vet stops seeing the doctor for the condition (no additional medical records), will the VA look at the condition as 'static' since they can't see any evidence or documentation of change?

What does 100% P&T mean? Can you still work or go to school?

Do we know how the VA defines "static" and "permanent in character?" What is the difference?

    SSDI and school.

Unless you visit the Denver (Lakewood) VR&E office where they'll tell you that nobody receiving SSDI can use Voc Rehab bennies.

Veterans Affairs Dept. tells Capitol Hill it won't repay underpaid GI Bill benefits recipients

Just in case any of y'all are interested, I watched the Committee on VA hearing earlier today. It started off with the VBA Under Secretary stating that everybody will be eventually be paid correctly sometime in Jan 2020, so I thought we must be good.... But, later he seemed to get a bit...

Veterans Affairs Dept. tells Capitol Hill it won't repay underpaid GI Bill benefits recipients

Well, this is pretty much right on par with how everything else has gone for me with this joke of an organization. Wow! "Veterans Affairs Dept. tells Capitol Hill it won't repay underpaid GI Bill benefits recipients The news conflicts with a promise VA officials made to a House committee...

    CRDP

Does this exemption mean that the CH 61/CRDP vet's mil retired income is exempted up to the same dollar amount that the vet is entitled to receive in VA disability compensation?

    Voc Rehab!

They did though. I'm just wondering how to fight it. I've decided to use up most of my GI Bill bennies and apply again when that time comes. The VR&E folks I dealt with were saying things completely different when it came to verbally versus in email.

    Voc Rehab!

Who does one contact when Voc Rehab denies benefits because one is receiving SSDI?

ABCMR refusing to accept my response

Sorry I don't have any advice, but I can sympathize with you. I'm going thru something similar with the VA about an incorrect debt related to compensation. They've essentially been ignoring me for almost the last 2 years. Hopefully, someone here will have some useful advice. Good luck! :)

If you are DOD TDRL/PDRL retired with less than 20 years of service please read.

Of course. If it ever does happen; I'm sure there will be quite a bit more public commentary on it prior to the passage of the bill.

Well, at least they didn't screw us on the Tricare issue.

Post 9/11 GI Bill BAH Amount Incorrect

Thanks for finding that. Am I interpreting that correctly, that the "GI Bill BAH" should actually be higher, not lower? I'm curious why it's different at all. Is it simply the 1% reduction issue stated in the other link?

That's interesting, their website states that they do. Is it possible that they are just making errors? All my classes are physically on campus. :)

Post 9/11 GI Bill BAH Amount Incorrect

Have any of you experienced this? VA is saying they are going to pay me $16 a month less than what the BAH amount is for my school's zip code in Denver, CO. I was thinking about just calling the 800 number, but I was wondering if there is a reason for this that I don't know about. Is this normal?
