    Need Help, Reserves/Guard Medical Retirement/Separate

No. If you are medically retired from active duty, then you are medically retired, period.

Seperation message and permanent retired benefits.

Officer orders chop goes through more people, such as community manager and detailer.

Seperation message and permanent retired benefits.

No difference at PEB and the separation message for officers, but orders process is different. Also different if you are RC.

    Expedite Memo

Just keep in mind that only works for Army processes. Doesn't affect the VA portion, and doesn't work in other services.

19 yrs of service, informal board found me unfit with non-compensable condition

Unless you're using language I don't understand, non-duty related and non-compensable means you don't *get* a medical retirement. You'll be separated because your condition makes you unfit to serve, but you'll have no retirement and no DOD benefits.

    Indexes Sent During Shutdown?

Yes, will affect. After you sign your findings, PEB has to process and put together for the index. Plus Navy PEBLOs are civilian, as is the message-writing group at NPC.

Seperation message and permanent retired benefits.

Right now PEB is taking roughly 1 to 4 weeks to process your package after you sign your findings, and send it along to NPC. If there is a government shutdown at the start of the new fiscal year, that timeline will be extended. Once NPC gets your index, you can expect a separation message within...

What happens if the government shuts down?

All depends on what your Branch does for a process. I feel like most of those offices would be active duty doing the work, but maybe that's not the case for each branch. Any office that has civilians is going to experience a work stoppage to some degree.

What happens if the government shuts down?

Been through several shutdowns in the past, in general. That's basically what I've seen, just a pickup of work wherever it was left. Of course, it usually takes a couple of days to get synced back up.

What happens if the government shuts down?

Incorrect. PEB and VA comes to a screeching halt except for the most critical care functions. "Government shutdown" means all government, not just DOD. And PEB belongs to DOD, each individual service branch. They aren't "their own entity."

Oh, I don't know....4 years ago? New to the military?

What happens if the government shuts down?

Short version, yes. PEB and PEBLOs are largely civilians.

LDES 70% DoD TDRL and potential appeal to the FPEB

TDRL isn't something that can be appealed the same way a rating percentage or a referred condition can be. The determination for whether you are placed on temporary or permanent retirement is based on medical documentation of the stability of your condition. Yes, there are laws that govern some...

    CRPS

If you want to know the potential reading, or range of ratings, for a condition, you need to go look in 38 CFR. That is the legal document which gives guidance to VA and DOD on what ratings to give for what conditions. If you go look it up, and you are clearly well about 30%, then you should...

Rated 30% yet put on PRDL

Ok, 2 things. Yes, MS will get you found unfit. Perhaps you could fight it to RTD if you were managing with meds, but every MS case I've heard of was found unfit. So I'm not surprised. Also, looks like you are mixing knowledge of DOD and VA processes. "My VA claims weren't high enough to...

Rated 30% yet put on PRDL

Either I don't understand the question, or you don't understand the way disability retirement works. Do you have a PEBLO? They should definitely be giving you this info. 20% or less DOD disability rating results in separation from service, with severance pay. 30% or more DOD disability rating...
