How long does it take to get separation orders?

That's between your command and TSC norfolk. I don't know how the process works, except the command is responsible for giving information to TSC, TSC will tell your command whether is more information is needed, and then at some point TSC is supposed to release orders.

    Navy Timeline and Question

It's random. All depends on how fast they're coming in. Since the VA is working through a massive backlog of cases, they've been coming to PEB faster the last month or so. But it's still all based on individual caseflow. Might be one a week, or three a week, or a week and a half between them...

    Severance

21 months seems....excessive. But I'm not DFAS. Whatever specific question you have about your repayment amount, timeline, etc - anything having to do with specific numbers for your specific case - can be answered best by DFAS at their customer service line.

Individual indexes (grouped by category), but multiple all at once. Same for USN and USMC (same PEB).

TDRL Fit Finding Return to Duty

PERS doesn't re-enlist you. Have to go to a recruiter, with all the paperwork showing you're fit. You'll go back through MEPS for medical, then if accepted, get a first set of orders as "needs of the Navy."

    My FINALLY completed timeline.

CUI is the classification on the message. All PERS messages are CUI. Has nothing to do with TDRL/PDRL other than all TDRL/PDRL messages are classified CUI.

How long does it take to get separation orders?

Umm. Not an expert, I just know there wad an ALNAV released early 2023 that gives instructions on how to get access to the CUI subfolder. If you already have access, you should be able to see all the messages from NPC (and others) with the CUI classification. They'll be separate from routine...

    TDRL regarding cancer

I wasn't coming at it from b&w at all, and if you knew me, you'd know I live in the grey areas (much to my boss' chagrin, lol). What I was trying to communicate is that I have two years of recent Navy data *and* direct knowledge of Navy PEB processes, to be able to say that they don't generally...

    When can I breathe?

My apologies, I should have been more specific. I was responding to the statement "I don't see that as being a problem." Based on my experiences on blue side, it could very well be a problem, but that would depend on if there is an equivalent reg.

    When can I breathe?

I disagree with @Provis . On Navy side, there is a regulation that says that Reservists are required to report changes to their medical condition, in real time, and not doing so is punishable. It's a deployability thing. I don't know Army side, but it's reasonable to assume a similar regulation...

    TDRL regarding cancer

Only point of disagreement in the whole large post above. Disability percentage is essentially "how bad is it," and the determination is supposed to be IAW 38 CFR. TDRL vs PDRL is essentially "how stable is it," and that's more of a judgement call, especially if treatment is ongoing. For that...

    Severance

All depends on whether TSC Norfolk properly set up your retired pay account with DFAS.

    Navy Timeline and Question

Don't count on it. If you have orders, that's a big help, but if you haven't at least notified household goods office, and started the paperwork or notified them, you might not get reimbursed. I've seen a couple people get screwed that way. Look in the JTR for more guidance.

TSC Norfolk, after you submit your separation package and they have processed your Admin. Comes to you via NSIPS.

How long does it take to get separation orders?

You can always file a congressional complaint. And TSC not getting you your orders in a timely manner is creating a hardship for you, because you cannot execute a move without your orders, unless you pay for it out of pocket. So I would absolutely do that congressional. I would do it tonight, on...

How long does it take to get separation orders?

Have you or your command been hitting up TSC and MNCC? Have you filed a Congressional?

You won't get reimbursed if you move without orders.

    Paternity Leave while on PEB

You won't get 12 weeks added to the program just for paternity leave. Whether or not you can take leave while in the process will depend on where you are in the process and who needs you where.
