    CRSC calculator problem

So, can someone answer a question for me? If you have a VA rated condition that was related to combat but the PEB did not find it unfitting, can you still file for CRSC for that condition?

    CRSC calculator problem

So, in my case... I have 2 combat related conditions, PTSD and DDD. However, only the DDD was found unfitting... so would that be the only issue I can apply for CRSD for? Also, Mike... my retire pay will be higher than my VA amount. So I guess that is why I get the negative amount on the...

    CRSC calculator problem

Yes, that's the one I'm using (It says created by James Martin on the bottom). I keep coming up with a negative number that actually reduces my monthly amount. As I mentioned above, I'm a reservist with only 4 years active duty (plus a few days here and there as part of my annual reserve...

    CRSC calculator problem

I've been trying to use the CRSC calculator to determine how much I might be entitled to; however, when I input my info it actually shows a negative amount. Could that be due to the fact that I'm a reservist and most of my years were not active duty years?

    wWhatp is Transpoc?

I'm a reservist that signed my DA199 last week. I've seen others refer to the Transpoc list. Could someone explain what that is, whether it pertains to reservists and how I can check to see if I'm on it?

    Got my DA199

Thanks for the responses, let me answer all the questions: Yes, the addition of the PTSD would increase the financial picture dramatically (my retirement pay is already higher than the VA). No, I would prefer to stay away from TDRL. As to duty interference, I'm a reservist...so that...

    Got my DA199

I got my DA199 form and have been rated 70% VA and 40% DoD (PDRL). My only unfitting condition was DDD. I really believe the IPEB erred in not finding my PTSD unfitting (rated 50% by VA) but I don't want to risk losing the 40% rating in the FPEB. Are there any other options available to have...

Usafaviator, I've never heard of a 10 year commissioning requirement to retire as an officer. Can you provide a Reg for that? Thx.

Sascha, I may have posted on the wrong area previously. I'm the one who just got my VA ratings...

Sascha, I may have posted on the wrong area previously. I'm the one who just got my VA ratings that were 50% PTSD and 40% Deg. Disk Disease. PEB only found DDD unfitting, however. If my 199 comes back with 40% PDRL, I'll probably take it. However, if they put me on the TDRL I'll most likely...

    PTSD was my referring condition.

I thought that the PTSD would be unfitting and the DDD would be fitting. I'm a JAG, I don't need to carry a 50 pound ruck. But I need to have my wits about me!

    Received Ratings Today

Today I got the envelope from the VA with my ratings. They rated me 50% for PTSD and 40% for Degenerative Disc Disease (since I'm a reservist, they are actual ratings and not "proposed" ratings). However, the PEB only found my DDD unfitting and not the PTSD. My concern is that they'll put...

    Appeal admin separation

Does anyone know how it is for officers looking at seperation? I'm currently up for a second look at promotion and in today's environment I don't expect to be picked up for promotion. I'm wondering if I'll be safe from removal until the MEB/PEB process is done?

    Question Re: DoDi 1332.38

Jason, So, are you saying the DoDi doesn't pertain to the PEB and determining unfittness?

    Question Re: DoDi 1332.38

I'm looking at DoDi 1332.38 and wondering how it might fit into my appeal to the Formal PEB. For example, my PTSD was found NOT unfitting. I found the following in the DoDi: E4.13.4. Anxiety, Somatoform Dissociative Disorders (Neurotic Disorders). When symptoms are persistent, recurrent...
