    @RonG So Chapter 61 and regular retirement, no drastic difference in pay if you meet 50% VA. (And at least 30% DoD.....????)

    3 years time in grade as an 0-4 in Dec 2025. I currently have 30 years of active duty.

    In my case, as a "medically broken" 04 that must meet TIR of 3 years to qualify for a regular retirement (which would be Dec 2025), the only benefit with a Ch 61 is that I would retire earlier? Pay would be the same if I met the minimum 50% Va disability?
