So if you dont pin on before separation, you will be "promoted" on your last day in service and your record will show you retired as a major?

Did you receive retirement at your select grade or grade at separation?

But the bottom line is you will still get your 20 year pension and a monthly disability pay correct? Essentially, you will still get the exact same benefits of a regular retiree with 20 years and xx% disability, not LESS right?
