    Army National Guard NDR-PEB

I feel for your situation. It seems I hear this type of situation too often with NGB/Reserves. Please reach out to JAG asap. They were able to make sure that my N-LOD was corrected in time. I only had good experiences with the JAGs I worked with but this is not everybody's experience. Remember...

Chapter 35 and 18 year old dependent

Are we sure that this is correct? I have a son in college using my Chapter 35 and VA is also giving me the additional $$ as a dependent. In fact, they sent me a letter last year to complete and then I received an updated claim letter showing that I would get the additional $$ until he graduates...

I am a National Gaurd Officer, should I retire or MEB

RonG Taking the example presented by Big Sky. Big Sky is O6 w/34 years. For simple math, high three is ~$14,000/month Points = 6550 = 18.19 years = 45.49% for longevity Longevity * monthly rate = Longevity$, 45.49% * $14,000 = $6,368.60 If Big Sky retires Chapter 61 at 60% = $8,400; This...

I am a National Gaurd Officer, should I retire or MEB

INL - IF you have LODs and those LOD's conditions will result in greater than ~47%, then you would be crazy (IMHO) to not pursue a Chapter61 retirement. There are many excel sheets out there that will show your retirement $$ versus Chapter 61 retirement $$. I am in this same position (O4, 34...

28 yr old injured during combatives training on Active Duty, not service connected and unfit to continue service in the Reserves

SMALONE31 Don't know if you are still monitoring this board. I am going through a similar situation as we speak. What was the outcome for you? FYI - I have similar story. I had back injury when I was active duty. Couple of times a year end up at TMC for "re-injury"/strain/sprain. Never more...

Don't know if you are still monitoring this site, but thought I would reach out. What ever happened with this? Did the IDRM replace the LOD as you thought? Was your IDRM denied? If yes, did you fight it? Thanks if you are still out there.

Are non referred conditions difficult to get counted at the MEB?

How long did your IDRM take from when you were told it was submitted until it was actually approved? Thanks
