44 Days in PEB

Hey all, first post. Thanks for all of your experiences and knowledge on this anxious process. My case was submitted to PEB only about 44 days ago.

***Can anyone give me some insight on how long it’s taking to get VA numbers back? Also, I’m fully expecting to be found unfit for my problems. When I receive my findings and proposed VA ratings, how long will it delay the whole IDES timeline if I do NOT agree with my VA %?

With the VA it’s a crapshoot. I submitted my stuff in September and haven’t gotten anything while I’ve seen people who submitted in November get their proposed ratings already. The whole process will take about a 8 months until your fully out. If you want to appeal your DOD rating you have to request a formal board which will
Add another 3ish months. If you want to appeal your VA ratings you do that once you get out of the military. Congrats and sit tight

Yea, the VA side is hit or miss. All of my exams were submitted at the end of Sept and my proposal letter was sent last month. PEB seems to be moving a little quicker. However, I would go with Hins’ timeline so that you don’t get let down.

My stuff took 6 months to get a proposed rating from the VA. Submitted early July, got back early Jan

Same, my last C&P exam was October and I still don’t have results. My PEB is done and now waiting on the VA so I can be done…
