6 weeks with PERS

I signed my findings and were submitted April 10th It was sent to PERS/indexed April 19th. As of now, I still do not have a date or any information. Tomorrow will make 6 weeks with PERS.
I have been checking every source I can for updates. NSIPS, MNA, OMPF, ETJ, EVERYTHING. I know this was somewhat of a lost cause, but doesn't hurt to look.

My current SEAOS is 30JUN2024. My concern is going past my separation date and my pay getting messed up. I discussed this with my command last month and they said not to worry about it. Brought it up again and they had me sign a letter to retain in service pending separation date. The letter has not been submitted yet.

I have been discussing my concerns with my command but not really getting anywhere. MNA updated this week to show past separation date with no DD-214 on record. I showed that to my command and they told me to ignore it and just be patient. I know this process can be tedious and requires a lot of patience. However, 6 weeks seems like a long time to get a separation date. I submitted a case through MNCC and they just confirmed my current SEAOS is 30JUN. So that got me no where.
I am getting very frustrated at this point. Is 6 weeks a long time to be waiting for message traffic for a separation date? Is there anything else I can do to get an update or see if something was lost? (My command has been notorious for missing message traffic and sailors finding out they're separating days before. So my trust is somewhat limited).

PEBLO is unresponsive?
PEBLO is the only one trying to get me answers. They told me when my case was indexed and has been looking through message traffic daily. I’m not sure if it’s worth calling my detailer and seeing if they could ask some questions. My command just tells me to be patient.

Email PERS 954 asking for an update.

I would be calling everyone at this point. Yes 6 weeks is super long, I’m sure some will agree to disagree but I signed my findings on April 24th and got my PDRL date on May 7th. I felt that was a long wait because you’re pretty much at the end of it and yeah it is hurry up and wait but also at the same time to my understanding once you get your findings and sign it’s usually 30-45 days you’re out…

I would definitely call your detailer, email PERS.

I really hate you’re going through this, really is upsetting

Was this resolved for you? What ended up happening?
Resolved isn't the word I would use. The series of events has seemed unreal.
My command continued to ignore the issue. I contacted MNCC twice and also contacted PERS. My command said they called PERS but I'm not sure how true that was. Someone I used to work with ended up calling their contact at PERS and actually found my separation message June 7th. The message was sent to my command April 18th and my separation date was supposed to be May 24th.
Leadership at my command was unhappy with me because it "made them look bad" and "like they didn't help me." I told them I was submitting an IG complaint and they questioned my expectations from doing so.
June 10th we agreed an extension would need to be submitted. I didn't sign it until June 18th (My EAOS was still June 30th). June 24th it was actually submitted and was kicked back on June 25th for wording issues. The entire time I was questioning my leadership and admin about it because of my EAOS. Somehow it was approved and my DEERS updated June 26th so I was able to get a new ID at least. Hopefully no pay issues, but we will see.
Now my separation date is July 31st. I have a lot of doubts moving forward. This whole situation has been a mess.

So sorry you ended up having to extend and hopefully your orders come in without any issue as well. Does that new date reflect in NSIPS for you or is that new sep date only visible on your separation message?

My command also missed my message by an entire month which I didn’t know until I contacted PERS at 8wks. Some people just can’t seem to do their jobs I guess.
