Hey all,
My package just got accepted by the PEB. Below is the timeline from referral to IDES until acceptance. Just settling in for the long wait now....

Referred to IDES: 22 July 2021
Legal Brief: 26 July 2021
Phone Appt with VA MSC: 9 August 2021
First QTC Appt: 23 August 2021
Last QTC Appt: 17 September 2021
NMA signed: 21 October 2021
C&P Reconciliation Completed: 5 November 2021
MEB Certified: 15 November 2021
Submitted to the PEB: 23 November 2021
PEB accepted message on MOL: 2 December 2021
 
Well, that happened way faster than I expected....

VA Claim status changed to closed: 8 December 2021

Thats just your propossed ratings that get sent to the MEB and are the used later on in the PEB, hopefully youll be call in soon enough to go over your narsum and then have that submitted to the PEB

Well its interesting that your package was sent to the peb before your estimate letter was sent out but that info will still be used during the PEB phase and the other will close once you EAS and get your rating from the VA

I figured it was just the proposed. Is this what people are talking about when they call the VA and can sometimes get them to email them the letter? I was hoping it was so I could see my proposed ratings, realizing they aren't final.

It is, calling is luck of the draw just dont mention you are in the ides.
 
Dang you got your proposed ratings back fast af. I’m still waiting from august/September

Ya I was not expecting them that fast. Same time frame as you so hopefully you hear something soon!

We are pretty close Mine was submitted and accepted by the PEB on 29 Nov. Still sitting at prep for decision on VA. I keep calling to see if I can get lucky and hear my proposed.
 
Spoke with a very nice lady at the VA, seriously she was super nice, who emailed me my proposed ratings. It was 100% for the VA, but not sure how the DoD ratings are going to work as both my referred issues (TBI & Hip) each had two ratings for different reasons.

I called my PEBLO yesterday to try to get an update on where my case is at because of major life issues that just came up. She refused to give me an update and tell me where my case was and told me she couldn't because "the updates we get from the PEB aren't accurate". Yes, that's a direct quote. She also told me that all cases are going through a second review so it's going to take even longer, which I know is false because of the October/November cases I've seen come back on here and Facebook. I'm going to reach out to my DES lawyer on Monday and see if he'll give me an update. Does anyone have any sources for updates other than PEBLOs or DES lawyers?

Another question, does anyone know if TBIs are considered mental health for the PEB? I know the VA lumps them together for rating purposes, but unsure of how the PEB views them.

When I reached out to my lawyer he recommended reaching out to my PEBLO's supervisor who unfortunately was super unhelpful. I'm not sure if you'll get the same reply.

I feel like everyone in that office (Camp Lejeune) is super unhelpful. Hopefully, my attorney is willing to give me some info.
 
Finally got an update. My case has been with the MO for 78 days so it went to the MO approximately 4 Jan 2022.
 
Received findings today. 90% DOD PDRL / 100% VA P&T.

How long did it take at the other officers after the MO?.. We have similiar timelines and I just got told I was at the PO as of today. So hopefully I will get something soon. 03 Nov 2021 with the PEB.. Initiated IDES on 29 June 2021.
