Faith, at the e-Benefits website, click on "Contact" at the top/center of the screen. Then, on the right side you'll see a red box that says "Ask a Question" Click on this and fill out the information fields. You can request either a phone call back or an e-mail reply. I've always rec'd the email reply within 5 duty days. You can also try the 1-800 number...but I've been unable to navigate their answering/automated system at that number.
Thank you! I called them once before, but told them that I honestly did not know what questions to ask other than if they could tell me anything about my claim, or its whereabouts. They gave me a very general answer, so that is why my "ears perked" when I saw your post. Now I know what to ask to get some results...hopefully! Thanks again!
Oh ok, I am just waiting for my orders, I already got my rating from the va and my results from the af.
I did my IRIS request last Friday and asked for an EMAIL which is supposed to only take 5 business days, and here on the fifth business day I have nothing. I hate this process.
I did, I found out in July that I was being put in for a med board, in oct 11 is when it really started, I did my va apts in nov and dec 16 is when My package was sent to AFPC. I got my results back on the 2 Apr and I am waiting for my orders now. I have been waiting for them for 2 weeks so far :/
My Claim is finally at the Cleveland office. Thank you lord. I just need to have this over with and try and get on with my life. I am having a hard time with all of this limbo, and just as hard of a time coming to terms with my career being over. I actually asked my father for a job yesterday

What do you do when you relise that your whole world is about to change and you have no idea what to do next.It kind of made me the same way, but after you get used to it (sounds impossible but it happens) you just try to think of it as a push to your next step. I never really thought about doing anything but being a military member, heck I was raised as a military brat, but after being strung through the loop and lots of holy crap what am I going to do now, I decided that I need to figure out what I want to do in life and that is finishing my degree and finding a job that I will love. Ok I finally got my orders.. now I have a problem. My peblo is saying that I have 20 days to out process then my leave plus my 20 days ptdy. Now my dos is 2 weeks more than my leave will be so I wouldnt be able to out process for a month.. anyone know about this??
Is this including your 20 days out processing and 20 days of permissive??? If so it is because they have to final out you on a specific day (I think it is the 27th or 28th) of the month so that you are able to start receiving your VA payments with only one month of no pay. Any other day will put you in more then one month of no pay.
Nothing like having another hang up. My stuff is just sitting at the VA because they wanted a new test done for my asthma. I got it done and now my mlc has it.... No idea on when she will send it. Then I have to wait for the VA to finish up before they send it to AFPC. Why is this taking so long???
How does that work out? I am guessing you did not pick a "date" when you signed your findings? I know they like separating you at the end of the month so 30 days later you should receive your compensation. At least its too much time instead of not enough- glad you are getting alll leave and permissive- some people I have heard are getting denied. How long did it take you to get orders them? 3-4 weeks??
No I didnt pick a date, at the time I didn't have a job lined up. Now I do but this is what they told me.. you move backwards from you DOS. So since i have 66 days of leave i will start my leave on the 24 of june. before that i have 20 days ptdy so that starts on the 4 of june. So my last day is the 1st of june. YAY. It took me about 3 weeks to get my orders. Just glad to get this done and start my new job
