On 9/3/21, the Air Force released the latest rewrite of AFI 36-2910 that included significant changes to the LOD process, as well as changes to MEDCON and INCAP Pay. A copy is attached for your use.

Just for interesting information for everyone...there are few things guardsmen need to go back and ask their medical unit to validate.
1. LODs are not being approved by the Wing/CC. The claim is that the system it goes through does not allow the LOD to stop at the Wing/CC. So essentially NGB/SG are still approving the LODs. Unsure why they cannot get the programmer to fix this.
2. Apparently because of this, NGB has gone back to SAF to request holding implementation of DAFI 36-2910 until Sept 22.
Keep in mind, both NGB and AFRC have given a ton of push back with allowing Wing/CCs to be the final authority on LODs. Unsure if this is just another stall tactic.
