I have been waiting on my C-file for 1-2 years now... So, I wasn't sure how to go about getting my packet submitted for CRSC for the conditions in which I had assumed I would be seeking to tie to combat related activity. I read around on here and in some other places and found out about these presumptives being included althought little to no information included on what was actually required to apply for under the presumptives lists.
I went to the DAV and was turned away essentially. None of the VSOs that I interacted with were able to help me. I did not keep a list, but I think I ran down most of the list and could not get setup with anyone who really knew anything about how to apply more than what was on the hrc website.
I was medically retired in 2021, my VA decision letter was pre-PACT act impacts and thus not a part of my decisions on the documentation submitted.
I submitted the claim without any medical records. Only my
1. VA disability letter, with the explanation of why it was rated X and not Y (Not the Code Sheet)
2. DD214s (one shows GW deployment location)
3. Orders to various units and mobilization(s) (one showing GW deployment location)
4. DD2860s
I claimed 3 presumptives which were associated with Gulf War deployments.
