I have a question which I have not found to be addressed regarding Arthritis ratings. I understand what the rating schedule is for arthritis. My question is, when ROM is not a factor and must be rated under code 5003 for 2 or more major or minor joints, do they rate each joint individually or 10% total for all joints affected with arthritis? For example, I have arthritis in all 3 sections of my spine, hip and ankle. All painful never incapacitating. Is that 10% total or 10% for each?
