Total MEB Time: 270 Days
Total PEB Time: 87 Days and counting...
- QA Time: 38 Days and counting...

Update:

Called the PEB today. They said I’ve been in QA 41 days, which is what I’m tracking. The longest case they have is 49 days. He said I should get my findings this week or next and to call back next week to get the date they sent my findings. Guy was sounded tired of calls when he answered but if you just chat with him and be kind, he’s actually a pretty nice dude.

Fun fact, my case is the 49 days case. I was told that my case was checked out over the weekend and should have findings in about 2 days. You will likely be around a week behind as my post VA/QA started 17 Jan.

Update:

Received a call today. Findings are in. Accepted and was told I will get an updated EAS in 7 days. Expect 30-35 days out.

I'm exactly a week after you so I'm really hoping I get lucky with some news next week

This process is so unnecessarily stressful and prolonged. Navy needs to go take some PEB lessons from the Air Force, they're taking 3 months TOTAL.

Everytime I see a quick timeline, I automatically assume air force or army. You would think the USN/USMC would adjust but I guess not. What's the point of having timelines across the DOD, when it seems like no one is actually enforcing them?

To be honest though, outside of the "Post-VA QA" process everything has been quite smooth. I just cannot fathom it taking 60+ days to transcribe ratings from the VA on to DoD paperwork and signing it off. All of these things that need to be done during this process must be pre-filled forms for the most part. I would be happy to let the Navy hire me as a consultant for lean/six sigma on this process. Throw in a little AI to help fill all the forms etc. and I bet we get this process down to that 7 day goal. Consultant firms are not cheap, I bet I can do it for $478,831.

How long after did you receive an EAS date? I accepted my findings on 19 April and still waiting. My PEBLO doesn’t care to ask any questions or answer them. Tells me to speak to someone else. So I’m just sitting and waiting unsure of what to do or who to talk to.

I don’t remember exactly but probably 2-3 weeks after findings. I was in TRS when I accepted findings. After TRS I spent 1 week prepping turnover, 1 week checking out, and I was gone.

I hope mines that fast, this is week 3. My MSC is finally giving me a call tomorrow. I’ve been checked out since my PEB was accepted! Just waiting on that EAS lol
