Thanks for sharing the detailed timeline. I am also in the NARSUM process and feel very tired. The information you provided helps me prepare mentally better.

My packet was submitted 25 June to AFPC and still no response... I wish they would just assign more people to the AFPC office if they are that backlogged.

any updates? im active duty but our stories are similar. Still waiting on a fit/unfit determination after my VA exams were completed

Unfortunately no updates just yet. Still waiting for AFPC to determine Full MEB or RTD. If you are waiting for a fit/unfit determination after VA exams, then I believe that means you are further in the process. I haven't started any process with the VA yet since I haven't received the response from AFPC yet.

I was told I should get an answer from AFPC sometime next week. I'm hoping that's indeed the case. The PEBLO office also said that once AFPC determines a full meb, it's about 6 months until final out.

I am so glad you had to wait less than 30 days to receive an answer from AFPC directing a full PEBLO. I am still waiting for an answer and its been about 60 days.

Yea, PEBLO said AFPC is backed up so I am suprised I got a notification this fast.

Question, examineer i saw for MH was horrible, basically didnt put down half the stuff i said or claimed even though i have records all the way back to 2019 for MH. Also said no PTSD or MDD or insomnia, just adjustment disorder. Put down no history of SI, despite a medevac from a deployment, and a recent inpatient trip for two weeks. What do I do to dispute this? My mh team here said they are going to put in the addendum hes wrong and back up what they say I have. Anything i can do as well?
 
My MH exam went the exact same way. I haven't found out anything yet but I am hoping they look at my history and not just that exam. My NARSUM states the exact opposite of what the VA dude put. Did yours happen to be online? I feel like that's where I went wrong.

I did mine in Lubbock, with a dude that the lady who teaches TAP said shes heard multiple complaints about. Dude was a piece of work.
 
Talked to PEBLO yesterday, case is still pending DRAS. They are showing 80 percent from the va proposed, but say they are still awaiting my rating...called VA and they said they received my results Dec 5, has to do with the case that is ongoing regarding pain medication taken before exams. Told VA i took nothing before my exam when they called a couple weeks ago, frustrating because nothing should be changing yet. Now I have to wait for the VA to send stuff to AFPC.....so tired of waiting between this and the gov shutdown, I just want to be out of the Air Force.
 
So called the VA last week, they said my claim was back in the review phase, think it was due to the ingram case. Called earlier this week to check and they said my claim was closed in october and they had nothing showing any new things despite weeks of them telling me otherwise. Air Force is still awaiting proposed rating from VA, PEBLO has no clue whats going on because shes never seen crap go like mine has before. VA rep I spoke to said she was going to send a message to the regional but so far I have lost all faith in the VA due to horrible DBQs, them not giving me ratings due to no diagnosis when I have it documented in my medical records from years ago (liason I was assigned even found the conditions with a simple control+f and then told me if the rater cant find stuff quick sometimes they will just keep going on.....sorry I have 3500 pages of medical records....this process is so frustrating.
 
VA finally updated, now a second claim has popped up and showing closed Jan 9th. MSC said peblo should get BEL this week, hopefully process can finally move along.
 
Got results monday from IPEB, 50% DOD/80% VA, med retirement. ODC Lawyer advised me to request a board and then we are going to deny the board and do a VARR because he believes I deserve 70% for MH and I agree with. Had sleep study done just awaiting results so hopefully CPAP and MH up to 70 which will get me to that sweet 100%.

when did you get the first myFSS email if you don't mind me asking? also, sorry your experience has been this hard..

i got my first myfss email nov 19, gov shutdown put a halt to things for a bit. And yea i got two of the most incompetent examineers for my MH and general exams...its all good though I got like 3000 pages of medical records to use when I appeal. And another nice thing is my unit has its own doc and PT so got them to document stuff the VA gave me 0 for since i had no record of it....got that stuff now.

Dang thats the thing worried about the most is this possible government shutdown we might have. I really want my answer before then. And I'm glad you have all the documents so you can actually get more for your ratings!
