need help!! So I am former 11B, now 79R (recruiting station commander). On Tricare prime remote. I have seen a civilian provider for a month now, had a command referred fit for duty evaluation today (that I had to go 7 hours away for) with the thoughts that her job was to review the diagnosis, verify, and submit a P3 profile. She refused to and states that new policies came out about PTSD that calls for specific outpatient or inpatient care to be done prior to a P3. Any intel on this is greatly appreciated? She was pushing her high speed treatment that in her words “cures” PTSD. I had received counseling 2013 and 2014. I have no inpatient or outpatient treatment.

Promise of a cure? My license would be in jeopardy, if I made such a claim. But I do agree treatment should be tried. Newer modalities for treatment exist and others that were not approved in 2014 are now.

Thank you. My only thing is trying to identify whether or not a MEB is allowed to be started without the outpatient program if you’re found to be unfit by command for your current position.
