Good Afternoon all,

Figured I would also share my timeline in order to see the response from anyone who was referred to the board near my own date.

Limdu x3 last period ended- October 15th 2021
Assigned to Medboard- October 25th 2021
All QTC exams completed- December 10th 2021
????

Just waiting for the next step, haven't heard anything since December.

Do you know specifically, or know where could find average processing times for cases based on location. Just for my own curiosity, I figured I would be waiting for some time. Thank you.

In Quantico VA, have been waiting over 6 months.

Can you add an additional unfitting condition once your PEB findings come back?

I believe you can do an addendum to add an unfitting condition however, I think you may have go backwards in the process, and start from almost the beginning. My lawyer mentioned something about it. I would talk to yours to get a definite answer if he/she answers the phone.

Looks like we are on similar timelines, so I'll share mine for comparison (active duty USMC):

3 June: Referred to MEB
10 August: IDES introduction/opt-in process
23 September: VA MSC appointment to complete claimed conditions form
25 September: QTC calls to notify five exams scheduled
10 October: 1st C&P exam
20 October: 5th C&P exam
30 October: DBQs populate in TriCare Online
5 November: MEB report signed
8 November: PEB submitted
20 November: PEB accepted
5 December: VA claim closed (can't find right rep to give me proposed ratings)
TBD: With medical officer
TBD: PEB fit/unfit
TBD: Official ratings if unfit

Expecting a 5-6 month process since "PEB accepted," so possibly some kind of update in April/May...

Update as I forgot to add some things

Limdu x3 last period ended- October 15th 2021
Assigned to Medboard- October 25th 2021
NARSUM completed- 12 Nov
All QTC exams completed- December 10th 2021
All exams uploaded to my profile 13 Jan

Waiting next step.

Yes you can. Just disagree with the PEB findings and file an appeal with your Counsel for additional condition you think should have been unfitting. Just make sure to have new evidences to proof your case. An updated profile for the conditions and a new commander's statement might be ok for IPEB to approve the written appeal. This is exactly what happened to me. they moved me from 10% DOD to 60% DOD.

Would anyone happen to have a rough number of how many days it takes from when all the QTC exams are uploaded and you receive your preliminary findings?

About 2 months give or take, considering you have to wait about 30 days once the va sends out your letter

Thank you very much.

I hired an outside attorney to assist me on my case. VA really F****d me during the QTC exams. There was a lot of inaccuracies. I will be requesting a FPEB to add an unfitting condition and submitting a VAR.

I'm going through IDES and my VA Claim has been sitting at "Evidence gathering, review, and decision" since Sep 16, 2021. I've called the VA and was told that my conditions had not been rated yet.
