Hang in there! My wife's IDES started in April 2021 and just started terminal leave on 2 days ago. It was a long process due to all the appeals but worth it to get the correct outcome.

How long did it take during the IPEB for her? I was trying to get an average but with the switch to the new system it seems all the timelines are out the window

Well over a month here. My Case was sent to the IPEB on 2 June and still nothing. My PUEBLO did tell me that my propose ratings were available to them on 8 July, and that I should have heard something already.

I envy you, but happy that your case is closed. I’ve been in this process since December of 2020. Just found out they never submitted my VARR in may and actually closed my case out. Had to get it opened back and re start the clock. Potentially lost my ability to start college this fall.

It is crazy how common stories like this are. I hope you can start college on time. Good luck with your process.

According to the AFI the PEB has 5 calendar days to make a decision after they receive your VA rating. I forgot that regs only apply to us plebs.

Ya if you look at all the information the PEBLO give you the IPEB is only supposed to take like 4 weeks once they receive it…thats the VA ratings and everything…so much for that guidance

Typical. I'll bug my PUEBLO more about it then. These System change delays will probably be an excuse for well over a year. At least i don't have an outrageous timeline like some of these other folks.
 
I emailed an AFPC case manager, if they're already working on the cases and how far backlog they are, as soon as they tell me.. I'll let you guys know.

Yea, there is a lot more detail to it. I probably shouldn’t speak about here. Just zero faith left in the system. I hope they review and process my VARR pretty quick.

Do you have your own contact or is there a way for us to email our own AFPC Case Manager to see whats going on with our case?

When I got the PEB notification email, for some reason the case manager was CC in the email.

Hmmm…ill have to check my emails tomorrow to see if my case manager is CC’d in them. Thanks for the info!
 
Case manager has been available all day, but still hasn't answered my email. If anyone has any updates please let us know, to at least confirm that they are working on the cases.
