DD214 Timeline

I was just told by Separations to not expect my DD214 until 60 days after my separation date of 9 Dec 12. Sounds like a long time to me.

Does anyone have a timeline of when they separated and when they received their DD214?

I separated on 29 October, had my DD214 on 2 Nov.

I think the 60 days is to allow them for them to take care of any issues that come up without you "waiting" for it.

I got my DD214 the day I finished clearing... Are you guys not Army?

It's Air Force. From what i've been told we can't get ours til we are out, out. Mean terminal and permissive completed and completely out. I'll hopefully be figuring this out soon.

Yeah it sounds like the army is better at the IPEB side. Jason said our FPEB side is the best of the services. I'm waiting on a grade determination. signed my 356 (199) on 5 Oct. Hope my decision and sep date come in soon. tired of the games. I've broken every time line so far, had my package lost, ask for a Grade determination and told no, now they are doing one. None stop head aches!
