Disability Severance Pay and Final Pay Timeline

Within the past few months how long has it taken yall to get ur final pay as well as severance.

Please post base location for reference i left Fort Hood
 
Hey man, I'm in the same boat. Not Army, so it might be a bit different. Our finance office has to do a final audit of the account and, at Barksdale AFB, they suggest a 10-20 day window. I did manage to find one other guy on the forum, this is what he said:

Yes I received it two weeks after I got out. Aug 1st and Aug 4th my VA claims finalized

My discharge date is 07APR26, I'll reply here and let you know when I get it.
 
Funny enough I got it on 31MAR which was 6 days (4 Business Days) after my seperation date and that was owing CIF about 2k but only concern now is im missing about 25% of it which im assuming was held for taxes
 
The finance office can help provide guidance on the paperwork for getting the taxes back as well.

Had a buddy just medically separate, his last day in the Army was 28 March and he received his final pay and severance by 02 April.

Not sure if that's out of the ordinary or not, but wanted to update the thread with the info.
