Good morning,
On the 15th of December I checked in with my PEBLO on the status of my case. I was informed I was found unfit (no shocker) and VA had done their part (which I had already known since the 24th of October) and the case was at the adjudication/verification stage on the DoD side. Not sure if this mean a DoD rating has been assigned and need the one last "look over" to be approved or placed in the back logged line to be assigned a rating. Going to check in today to see if there is an update ( going to try and check in every two weeks). Have anyone received findings for case(s) submitted to PEB after the shutdown?

Abbreviated Timeline:
17Nov25(ish): Case sent to PEB (after the word to submit cases again)
15DEC25: Monthly status check, PEBLO informed I was found unfit, VA complete, and case back on DoD side awaiting adjudication/verification.
 
Sounds like you got a good PEBLO mine always states “he doesn’t get updates” and “there’s no where for him to check” but I was submitted NOV 19.

Sorry to hear that your PEBLO is not properly doing their job and failing you. From my understanding the reason for the PEB system update was a better way of tracking svm cases. My PEBLO put in my DoD ID and the status of my case popped up. Good luck on getting info on your case, because I know the unknown erodes mental health quick.

My case was sent to the PEB after the shutdown. My PEBLO gave me an update last week that on her end she can see my DOD rating and they marked me unfit and PDRL. On my MNCC Service Request Status it says I had a request made on 22DEC for a "notification of processing sailor pending PDRL/TDRL or SEPSEV decision." So I am guessing it is in the final stages for me at least.

Outstanding, sounds like you are at the end. Hopefully when I talk to my PEBLO he can see the same. When was you case submitted right after the shutdown or a week or two?

I believe she submitted my case the same week the gov re opened. It sounds like our timelines are identical so if I get any updates on my case, I will post them here

What day was your package sent to the PEB? If you have ratings already that seems extremely fast!

Not trying to be the bearer of bad news, but my MNCC has had the same notification since May 22nd, my VA findings have been with the PEB since Dec 4th, but I've had no movement since then. I had to submit a VARR, but my case was sent to the formal PEB in August

Dang! That’s rough! I already had my VA proposed rating prior to my package getting sent to the PEB. Hopefully that will streamline my process. Wishing you great fortune and hopefully you will be finished soon!

My package was sent to the PEB right after the shutdown, Ive had my proposed VA rating since the beginning of September. I had to get more conditions referred on my NARSUM relating to my right knee injury and right when that got done is when the gov shutdown happened

Yeah, I know I still have some more waiting to do. I meant in regard to everything I needed to complete on my end besides signing the findings from the PEB. If what my PEBLO saw on her end, ends up being the case, then I do not plan on appealing anything. Did you submit your VARR back in May?

Update:
08JAN26: Received and signed findings.
"Should" receive retirement orders within the next two to three weeks and out mid March NLT early April.
 
Dang 52ish days from when the package went to the PEB to getting your DoD findings! I feel like that’s a quick turnaround especially with the holidays and the new system! I’m on day 30. Im definitely gonna reach out to my PEBLO for an update tomorrow! Happy for you! Good luck with transitioning!

Thanks, yeah it was actually quicker than I expected with all that was going on with the shutdown and then rolled into the holidays. Now the waiting game with PERS. Definitely check in with your PEBLO. I was lucky enough to get one who was honest, informative and seemed to actually care. Good luck!

How did you get your proposed ratings before the PEB?
