ENT wants labyrinthectomy for Meneires Disease. Do I have to while active?

Feel free to question! I imagine you feel exactly as I did going through this seems my docs are more reasonable with the medboard referral sadly
 
@shankatorus hey hope you've been well. My case finally got referred to a PEB. still early stages waiting to get a PEBLO assigned but I was starting to put some of the documents together and I'm basically writing my own NMA for the command, wondering if you had to do the same? Also if you chose to write a personal impact statement? I am just not really sure what to write in these ... like I've got a lot that I can say, but not sure what types of things are actually useful for the board to hear. Any insight appreciated.

Hey! Just to start if your ever want to DM me, I have notifications on for her .

My NMA was written by my CO actually, he took a big interest in my case. I can share you some of his verbiage if you need.

My attorney told me not to do a personal statement. Basically my record spoke for itself and a statement wouldn't have done anything but possibly make noise.

As far as insight. If you are referred for dizziness formally GET THAT CHANGED the VA won't evaluate you for Meniere's and your ratings will be decreased. If I reviewed my stuff and got it administratively squared away from the start it would have saved me 4 months AND I'd have ally ratings done .

Lastly, chemical labyrinthectomies are dope and I recommend it if yours is like mine
