It is amazing what kindness can achieve.

This is super helpful, I’m a sailor at Belvoir. My case was submitted to the PEB on Friday. I’m eager for any kind of update.

VA Claim Closed Mar 12 2024
Not sure if I should be concerned about this: I'm past PEB acceptance but there's nothing populating claims wise on the VA tracker for claims. I don't know if it just populates late and completes quickly at some arbitrary point. I understand you must be found unfit for a claim to generate, which to my knowledge happens without notification as most timelines on here don't include that.

The VA side of the house is the part that confuses me since it depends on several things from the PEB like the fitness determination and proposals being forwarded.

Once your claim is done, the app and website will show “closed” but nothing else and you will receive no claim letter in the mail.

If you see nothing, then your claim isn’t done. Either the VA is backed up and they’ll get to it or you are not in the parallel rating system and the VA is waiting on an unfit determination to process your claim.

I would call the VA on Monday and ask what your claim status is. They should also be able to tell you if you’re in the parallel rating system or not. Your MSC should be able to give you a lot of this information, as well.

This is good info. Appreciate it, I'll be sure to call the 1000 number tomorrow.
