Well here's my timeline so far.

This is my entire Process I went though before i could get Med Boarded...I really Hope this helps Everyone out in their process... I made it so where it reflects EVERYTHING that the Us.army.mil MEB/PEB Process says... unlike every other page i tried to look for...gees is it so much for a guy to find that information?!
 
My status updated to : Date board completed 11/04/2011...what does that mean in regards to the next step and time frame?
 
My meb started in May they said I would be out by Oct but its looking like Jan. Your Va rating may be quicker then mine though. My pueblo is New and has screwed up a lot of stuff already lmao.I have been lurking the forums and everybody that is in the Des pilot seems to been taking round 70 days for there rating. I am at drum btw.
 
Your local VA rep 'may' be able to see your results from the VA on his/her computer... I don't know if they are authorized to do this, but the status on the eBenefit website will not update until you are out of the military. Go see your VA service rep... It didn't take but a couple of weeks for the VA to finish my ratings, but it took two more weeks for them to get the ratings back to the PEB. After that, it was about a week when the PEBLO called me in to see/sign my 199. I signed my 199 on the 9th of November. I will let you all know when I receive my orders.
 
Mwoodley22, my status on AKO says under the PEB section that my board was completed so I'm guessing they got the VA ratings back from Washington. What happens next? Do they send it to my PEBLO or does it go to PDA HQ? Thanks
 
You will review (and have JAG review your 199) and then sign it. It goes back to the PEB where they send it up to the PDA in Virginia. That's what I got out the conversation with my PEBLO. I just signed my 199 (after JAG looked it over) and the PEBLO said it would be 4-6 weeks until I receive my orders.
 
I recieved my orders on the 10th of November. Will be finaling out the 22nd. What helped me get through this crap was calling the PEB on a daily basis. My Peblo does not even know I have my orders yet! haha. Call the PEB and keep bugging them. If you need help please let me know.
 
Signed my DA-199 yesterday now just waiting on PDA for my orders!!!!! I am hoping that its before the holidays.
 
WOW!!! my notification date for MEB action was 25 JUL 2011 and my NARSUM is still not complete. How long does it usually take from the time it gets sent to the PEB to the time you can actually start clearing or taking terminal leave? FYI: I am at Fort Rucker
 
It goes to the PEB and you get a fit or unfit, this happens pretty quick. If unfit it goes to the VA and they give you a rating. It took about a month for that. The VA sends it back the the PEB and they send it back to you to agree or disagree. If you agree it goes back to the PEB and they send it to the PDA who prepares your memo of release so you can get your orders. I am waiting on the PDA right now. You need to know your final out date so you can prepare your PTDY and terminal leave.
 
I'm right there with you@ Ft. Rucker. If you don't stay on top of Dr. G------ you will get over looked. My NARSUM took the full 35+ days cause he drug his feet till the last minute. When he finally completed that it was sent to San Antonio, within 6 days I had my unfit. That's because I called San Antonio myself and talked with the right person, not that the PEBLO was supposed to do that or anything. From there it was sent to Washington state for the VA rating, that was almost 4 weeks ago and still waiting. If you want the name and number to call in San Antonio send me a message. This is the most frustating thing that I've ever been threw but the concept@ Lyster is that they will contact me and I'm not going to be proscribe no matter what the soldiers situation is. I have been told that it has been taking close to 60 days to get orders from the time that the rating is sent back to San Antonio. (That is just bull-----) but what can you do. If I can help you in any way let me know, I will pass all the knowledge that I have and who knows you may have some that I haven't thought of.
 
Just an update. Called the PDA number and was told that since I was in the IDES program she couldn't see my file so she took a message for the ncoic to call me back. I signed my 199 on the 15th and the lady at the PDA said they received it on the 22.
 
That's the same info that I received yesterday.. She took my information and said that they would call/contact me.... well.... no call yet.. lol.. We shall see.
