There should be a person on post that does the retirement/medical orders. We have a civilian here that told me she would call me when the 'information' got into the system for her to cut my orders..
The hold up now is somewhere between the PDA and getting that information to the people at in/out-processing.

Yea same thing with my orders. Personally I don't care how long it takes I just wish I could get a estimate so it's not me waking up one day an they say your orders are here and I am rushed out the door. I have seen it happen to where a few buddies of mine had a week to clear an be out of here.

Four months now waiting for my first MEB appt. Just got the call today. Hopefully everything else will go fast. I have no conditions that need further medical treatment, and I do not have to be evaluated for anything. Supposed to be automatic 100%/100%. We'll see.

Well that's how it is going to be for me. Ive got 60 days terminal leave and taking 20 days PTDY. That gives me ten days for clearing and I'm gone. I wish I could make it out before Christmas.

Yea I got 68 days of terminal so I am going to sell some or burn some for Chirstmas. I don't even know if I should take leave or just stay here for Christmas honestly. I will keep you updated even though it looks like your a week ahead of me. I am going to try an get some phone numbers.

I figure I would have to receive my orders by the 9th of December to have 10 days to clear before the holidays... I didn't put in for Christmas leave because I figured I would be done with this by then... my mistake! lol....

Jersey ...on that note I am thinking about just taking a pass and saving my leave in case orders come down.

Just got back from transitions...She talked to me about when I want to get out an worked out to be FEB 26. She said she is going to cut orders in the next 2-3 days. Go to transitions I just walked in an asked questions an they sat down with me an told me the deal.
EDIT: Yea I got my 199 on NOV 15 and signed on the 22 yours should be there.
I'll give that a shot. I went in right before Thanksgiving but was told that I needed the memo of release from my PEBLO. I'll give it another shot. Gavinpedrick are you at Campbell also?
Yep, transition can see me in their system. My memo or release was completed from the PDA on 30 Nov. He told me to contact my peblo. Hopefully I can get my memo from him and get my orders cut.

I was just lucky by taking Gavin's advice and check at transition. Who knows how long it would of taken to get a call. Well since she decided to hold onto them my last day is going to be this Sunday if I use my 60 days terminal and 20 days PTDY. I have to get my leave forms in tomorrow and hope they get signed ASAP. I love people who don't job their job. How simple to just call a solider and say, "hey your memo or release is up here, come and get it" sorry for the rant.

Received my clearing papers and orders today!!
So went to my PEBLO and he had no idea my memo of release was there. It was with the lady who is supposed to call soldiers. She received it on the 30th of Nov. and decided not to tell anyone. It's the message that is sent from the PDA to transition. I'm not sure of the official name of it. Got all the info I need to get my orders made and tried to do my DA-31 for my PTDY and terminal leave. My unit doesn't know if I do two separate DA-31's. One for terminal and one for PTDY. LOL

No you don't have to you can do it all on one da 31. In the remarks box just clarify what your taking. I still might do two leave forms so it does not have to go to brigade though.
Turned in my leave and went to transpo. Going to clear tomorrow when I get my clearing papers. Hope to sign out on Friday and leave this weekend.
Dam your leaved got approved already ? I turned mine in yesterday but it's going to take a week at least for the signatures I bet. I cannot really do anything else until I get my leave approved since you need your orders and leave paper work to start clearing.
