MEB / PEB & VA Claim Timeline
(This is exactly what I used when I called, I tried many different ways of asking over the phone they gave me the worst excuses every other call. I then asked to have it emailed to me and they didn’t question anything.)
My claim shows as complete in the VA app, but I am unable to view or download my decision letter. I was trying to see if you could send me a copy of my decision letter by email.
- February 4, 2026 – Referred to MEB.
- February 12, 2026 – Contacted by PEBLO.
- February 23, 2026 – First C&P exam.
- February 27, 2026 – Last C&P exam.
- March 2, 2026 – VA exams submitted.
- March 9, 2026 – Signed NARSUM.
- March 16, 2026 – NARSUM accepted by PEB.
- March 30, 2026 – Informed by PEBLO that Vote 2 was pending with the PEB.
- March 31, 2026 – Found unfit by PEB.
- April 2, 2026 – Case marked complete on VA app step 5/5 completed.
- Since April 2, attempted to call the VA almost all day to get the proposed rating over the phone this did not work because the rating was not yet available and had been sent to PEB but then pushed back for corrections.
- April 6, 2026 - First attempt to request the proposed rating via email failed because the date of entry was given incorrectly.
- On the second attempt, VA successfully sent the proposed rating via email.
