Does anyone have experience with receiving home awaiting orders? There are a few MCO's on it, one looks like it's something I rate, the other is a bit more confusing. If anyone has experience with this, please reach out. I am trying to get back to my family as soon as possible

I'm not spun up on it, but here's my advice:

You're at the very tail end of it all. Even if there was a program to do it remote, I recommend being there up until you have your 214 from RPAC and your sep/retirement orders in hand.

I had 6 errors on my 214 and seps orders, from incorrect per diem between my wife and I, an erroneous grant of a good conduct medal, wrong address, wrong contact info, etc.

I can't imagine the annoying backlash that would come with working with RPAC remotely and an issue on my 214 was there, and it withheld me from applying for VA benefits since they need an accurate 214 for benefits.

I recommend finishing on a strong note and holding the hand of RPAC til you're good and ready to leave forever. Then walk into your post service life very confident you're set up for success.

So to do that you would have to agree to no appeals meaning you are just sitting home waiting for the results and then you accept them. That's why everyone doesn't do it. It sounds nice but its really just for those who are severely disabled. If you were quadriplegic or bedridden due to cancer for example you are getting 100% and you aren't going to need to appeal anything. You can go home and focus on health while the process is still going on.
