IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

Not to be discouraging but I got my proposed ratings on Sep 2nd and I am still waiting for my findings.
I am so sorry to hear that, honestly this is horrible that we are going through this no estimate no nothing just waiting I don’t understand why they don’t have a system or something we can look at to see where our cases are at….

I got my VA PROPOSAL rating Oct 16th been in this boat for about 2 years now and I’m waiting on DOD I try calling the number for the PEB but no one ever answers :/ it’s been 6 weeks since then and I haven’t heard anything I’m trying to be patient but this is really hard for me as I’m trying to move on & have to much going on at home. I’m active duty USMC.
got va proposed ratings on october 13th and spoke with the peb yesterday and he told me as long as the system doesnt go down again like last week, I can expect two more weeks and that i should start my job hunt NOW which is fine i already have 4 job offers. So I am expecting to start terminal end of december or beginning of January with an EAS date towards the end of january early february

Congrats! Still waiting to get mine. Not sure how they work through them but it seems to be an even less predictable process than I even gave it credit.
Thats so odd. I had to go back, you started about 10 days before me. Maybe you were found unfit later than me. Like, the VA did their ratings and stuff but the PEB was still debating for longer. Do you mind me asking what you are going through it for? You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to

Yeah I have 5 referred conditions stemming from a blood infection and treatments I had last year. Maybe 5 took longer than most and the PEB doesn’t work through them sequentially?

Maybe, I have narcolepsy, REALLY bad. There’s no question of me being unfit.

The PEB guy told me it’s gonna take another two months for my findings. He told me two weeks ago that it would be “next week” so we never really know I guess. My VA claim closed Sept 2nd and I was told it have been in QA for two months.

their system went down last week so they are back logged again. He said he gives a pretty generic answer for everyone because no one is just nice to him.

called PEB two weeks ago, he said i should be getting it back in 2 to 3 weeks.
my case was sent to the PEB 23AUG23. My case is for bipolar disorder so I'm guessing that's why it's taking longer.

To be fair, I got mine last week and it was sent 2 days before yours. The PEB guy said I was lucky and they finished mine right after thanksgiving before their system had an issue

Oh Jesus i really hope i hear back soon that's so corny tho, glad you got ur findings though!!

anyone heard anything?
Submitted to PEB Oct 4th 2023
VA Claim close Nov 6th 2023
Found unfit Nov 20th 2023 (PEBLO email)
The number for the PEB said three more months !
My MSC told me today 1-2 more weeks until I get my final ratings.

Which one should I be trusting heavier? I have heard that the PEB guy that people call sometimes gives inaccurate time lines.

Anybody who's recently been at the stage I'm currently at and wants to pitch in please do. I have a skill bridge acceptance letter for Jan 2 to Mar 22 but if it is true that I will get results within two weeks then I do need to cancel my skill bridge. This all is fun lmao.

How long were you in QA stage / how long ago were you found unfit ? Also congratulations what did you get
I’m not sure how many days but my VA claim closed Oct 13 and was received by the PEB on Oct 16

I got my VA claim closed like five days after you and got told a month and a half by the peb about a week after, but that was before things went down around thanksgiving. If the peb was accurate we'd be done around mid Feb to early March. No clue if that was including holidays and all the down time they've had. I definitely feel like 1-2 more weeks is inaccurate if they're saying the system is going down more and they're already dealing with a backlog. No contact with my peblo or msc at all so I've got no clue what their two cents might be.
