IDES Timeline

It just says last updated June 27th and at the evidence gathering stage still.
That's normal. That stage on the VA website is "evidence gathering, review, and decision" so it encompasses pretty much everything. If the status on ebenefits says "pending decision approval" then that should mean the VA has proposed a rating for you. Also, lots of people (myself included) have been seeing a second claim show up on the VA website that says "closed" which I think is just an automatic thing the VA submits in order to add your dependents on when they propose your rating.

I already have my proposed ratings and this is what my claim status pages look like:

Mine is at:
  • Step 5: Preparation for Decision

The Veterans Service Representative has recommended a decision, and is preparing required documents detailing that decision. If more evidence is required, the claim will be sent back in the process for more information or evidence.

You think I could call for the percent or just wait for the next step which is yours " Pending decision approval "

Mine is step 5 as well and I called to get email with proposed ratings.

Oh hell yeah! I'm calling them tomorrow morning, Thank you!

Just say the usual "I never received the mail, could you please email it to me?"
Yeah, I told them that “my claim status on VA.gov says that a decision letter was sent to me, but I never received it. Could you tell me what the results were?” He looked into it, realized it was proposed ratings, and said he couldn’t tell me the ratings or discuss it at all…”but I can email you the letter that was sent.”

This is why that random second claim that’s automatically closed is important—that’s the one that says a decision was reached and the VA sent out a decision letter.

Where on eBenefits are you seeing "pending decision approval" ? Everything that involves my claim on eBenefits just takes me to VA.gov

They may finally be in the process of transitioning everything over to VA.gov. Ebenefits worked for me last night, but now it's redirecting back to va.gov like you said. And I keep getting weird error messages when I try to log into VA.gov, so they're probably doing site maintenance.

If all else fails, just call the VA rep that was assigned to you as part of the IDES process. Mine wouldn't tell me what my proposed rating was, but she was able to confirm that a rating had been proposed.

EDIT: Nevermind, Ebenefits is working for me again. Try using this address: VAAFI Login-SSOe

Okay, they might not have a proposed rating for you yet but once it hits "pending decision approval" they should definitely have proposed ratings. The approval that's pending is basically just the PEB decision. Ratings can't be finalized until you have your DD214

Just got a call from DRAS in Rhode Island. They just started working on my VA claim and the proposed ratings should be done by tomorrow, then get to my PEBLO/PEB next week. Woop woop.
Nice, hopefully your PEBLO actually tells you what they are. I was in the BDD program and got my C&P exams done before I was referred to a Medboard, so the VA proposed my ratings back on June 9th, only a week after my PEB submission. My PEBLO has never once mentioned those proposed ratings to me. I got them directly from the VA and I have not mentioned to him that I've seen them.

Mine just keeps redirecting me to VA website. In early September, mine was at step 5. Everything was sent up mid may.

My PEBLO won't even tell me how many cases are at PEB or how many at out location or if I'm case# X out of X at X stage.

I get better answers from a magic 8 ball than my PEBLO.
Yeah like I said earlier, these PEBLO's can't even be bothered to sort the rows on their weekly trackers. They're not willing to do any work beyond ctrl+f and finding your name.

This is why they need to just give us access to those trackers. I was a financial analyst before I joined the Navy, so I can fux with some spreadsheets.

I just talked to my PEBLO. I'm now her oldest case since she received results for an April and May case yesterday. It's not great news but it is more information than I usually receive.

It’s been over a year now since my VA exams… and my anxiety is so bad I’m too scared to contact my PEBLO at this point so everyday I refresh my email every 5 minutes getting my hopes up waiting for something… May 11, crossing my fingers **God bless whoever put out that excel spreadsheet on fb and POG on here**

Okay that’s my venting for now thanks y’all

Stay in contact with your PEBLO.

Literally spam your PEBLO if need be. Email seems most effective but what worked for me was to call, leave a voice-mail that I'll follow up the next day, and email that I called, need a call back, and I'll try again tomorrow. I did that for four days before he got annoyed enough to update me.

Don't let your anxiety get the better of you (easier said than done, I know). The PEBLO is there to update and help you, they just forget that often.
