IDES Timeline

94 days MO, 127. at PEB. Lord almighty, hoping for you guys to see the. light. at the end of. the tunnel v soon!

120 with MO, husband processing out in a week, about to lose a paycheck completely, hoping for some sort of news by the end of February..

It’s so crazy that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it how they process these. There’s people from June, July waiting…last month a sept results came back and now we’re in mid august already. Maybe it had to do with mental health claims vs. non, idk. But, it’s sporadic to say the least.

I have been told by a reliable source that they try to process mental health claims quicker. I imagine it’s because of liability reasons.

From what I’ve been seeing, a lot of mental health cases are the last ones to come back. I think keeping any service member in while they are unfit for duty is a liability, not just mental health. There are a lot of commands that refuse to accept medical limitations, whether it be physical or mental.

Most of the commands don't even accommodate people that are hurt or have gone through surgery or mental health issues. I know a few people who have both a physical issue and mental health issue.

Yeah, I know. I’m currently dealing with it. I have so many physical limitations and my command tries to make me do it anyway. I don’t take their bullshit though, they’ve tried to fuck me over so many times for it, but when it comes down to trying to punish me, it always gets thrown out

July 5th still waiting.
June 25th and still waiting.

210 days in the PEB
192 days with the Medical Officer
Currently 18 days with the Presiding Officer to determine fit/unfit

My PEBLO told me yesterday that it will still be 2-3 weeks before the VA will give me my rating once the Presiding Officer makes their decision.

I don’t disagree with you at all. The way I see it is that we control what we can. My VA claims finally closed, but I know that probably means nothing lol.

Fucking hell.

My friend who was 3 MO days ahead of me in October got the call today. I called my peblo and as of 2 days ago I'm 142 MO days on the tracker. Does this mean I can get the call any day now or does this mean I still haven't got to the presiding officer step yet and I got a ways to go?
