IDES Timeline

Do you think the MEB will find them unfitting because my PEBLO says they could I’m not sure.
I’m Navy and the first time they found me fit but that might have been because my NMA highly recommended me staying in. This time my knees are worse and states I won’t be better in the next three years and it’s a chronic issue so

Everyone’s packages get sent to DC. I was calling the medboard office here to get updates on my case because sometimes they get updates from DC about everyone’s packages. There hasn’t been a tracker out since mid October though. From my understanding, your IDES attorney will likely have the most up to date information on your case. That’s how I found out I was found unfit. I would call your PEBLO and your attorney. That’s who will have the most information for you. It’s been super difficult to get anyone on the phone lately though. The PEB as a whole is bogged down with cases, which in turn, leaves the PEBLOS and attorneys also bogged down. I also called my congressman and senator for assistance. Not sure if it made a difference. But for the last month, I’ve been calling everyone that I could think of.
Trackers still go out, my Peblo gets them weekly. She tells me how long i've been at the phase.

This should be a good opportunity to see how the 2 branches work cases. As we can communicate here regular throughout the process. Hoping it all will work out to you favor.

Welp- it came today!

10 DOD/60 VA. Unfit.

Been going to medical getting resulting other issues since medboard started so I can appeal the VA side.

Was sent in Aug, accepted by PEB Sep 15, and at the MO's desk Oct 18.

Congrats what was the last update you got before this? I am on the same timeline and waiting to see if my stuff is still with MO.

Last update I got was saying it was with the MO in Oct. I'm honestly surprised it even came this early, grateful but surprised

Sent to DC OCT 4th and heard yesterday it's at the last phase the QA process. I want to hear today, it feels like knowing it's towards the end makes me more anxious even though I know my unofficial findings.....UGH

Does anyone know what phase the VA disability rating officer is? I finally am done with the MO portion just wondering how much longer of a wait

Guys I have some conditions I wanted to claim but didn’t. As I get ready to go on terminal leave and get my DD214 can I file another va claim once I’m out on terminal or would I have to wait till I’m officially out. I assume I can file on terminal leave cause I have my dd214.

According to my lawyer, my case is with the 3rd officer now, which is what I assume to be the presiding officer. Anyone know how long cases are usually here for? he said I should be receiving findings here in the near future.

I dont think you can make another claim until youre officially a veteran. But ask the VA dont quote me

within 190 days after separation you can file another service related claim. but after 190 days they won't really let it happen. my husband just got rejected because he waited to long to file. I say do it as soon as possible
