IDES Timeline

Line officers are still medical officers in the eyes of the PEB they just have no medical background other than the training the PEB provides for them to go through cases. Think a regular officer on a shore duty. Where medical officers are actual medical doctors once they leave the PEB billet.

So yes every case goes through a medical officer just some are actually medical doctors where the others have just the training to PEB provides and will not use whenever they go to their next command
This makes zero sense to me lol. You original post did. If someone says their package is at the MO it is waiting on an actual Navy Doctor. Then it goes to a LO. Yea they have PEB training. But they aren’t considered a MO. The LOs still make determination but it has to be seen by a MO. Unless the PEB actually uses the authority it was given at the end of last year.

But yea I’ve seen the physical cases go a lot quicker the MH.

But it has been a long day. So I may not be grasping what you are saying.

So my out date is still going to be April 20, with terminal starting March 14. I have a checklist, but other than that, I'm staying in-area. Any advice on what else I should make sure I do in this amount of time?

YAYZ!!!! Signing Findings Tomorrow!!!!
And yours was sent up 4 October. So about 4.5 months since "submission," that's a pretty good timeline. Glad the wait is over for you, hopefully a good sign for others.

I was just told in an email "Since it looks like your DoD Med Board results are back you will probably not get the corrected letter before you accept the findings" she also stated that DOD results was all she was waiting on for my separation date. is that good news? or is it the same old same old?
